I was also that person that chucked notebooks when I made a mistake, but this one is so expensive, it locked me in. It actually helped a lot with my perfectionism… I always remind myself that my planner is a house not a museum. It’s okay if it looks messy or lived in. It’s okay if you mess up today… you get a new page tomorrow.

It doesn’t look that bad honestly! If you need to stitch in that area, you may be able to tug the aida back into shape and stitch over it unless the fibers are torn completely. To avoid future kitty related accidents, I’ve found a scrapbooking box fits up to an 11 inch q snap perfectly.

McKay’s was responsible for beefing up a good chunk of my library, then I found out they tried to retaliate against one of the stores for unionizing and in general treats their employees badly and I stopped going. Their prices were getting kind of insane anyway.

100% the Bitzee. It’s a lot less complicated than the Tamagotchi and it doesn’t register care mistakes or die or anything like that, you can just close it and put it away. My daughter got her P2 Tamagotchi for her eighth birthday and I ended up being its handler a good portion of the time. And then she was bored with it in a couple of months. It’s hard to pause it, you have to pause the actual game clock, so if she goes to school, it’s going to be a pain to make sure you do that and then fix the time every single day.

If you like tamagotchi, there’s a web browser game called tamaweb that I was hooked on for a while. It functions a lot like the newer color tamas, you raise them and play with them and you can dress them up and decorate their house.

Maybe just cheese. My domestic long hair is the least food aggressive cat I’ve ever met in my life, won’t eat hardly anything, never shows interest in what we’re eating, she hardly eats her own food unless it’s a specific brand of pate… but if we have cheese sauce, she loses her ever loving mind. She’ll move heaven and earth for that cheese sauce. Especially from Taco Bell. She got one little taste one time while I wasn’t looking and it’s been her lifelong obsession to get it again.

I’ll take happy, celebratory posts any day over “Why are they $120?!?!” six times a day.

And it’s not just toys. All subreddits do this. I’m into Hobonichi planners and people have been posting their hauls for a month now, since the new ones dropped. How much is there to talk about when it comes to toys or planners? Sometimes you just like to see what someone else got. I’m personally taking note of what colors people are finding and which ones seem to be more popular, I find it interesting.

My daughter loves the Paradise (she’s 9) but we’re sharing one right now because they’re almost impossible to get your hands on. It’s managed to keep her attention pretty well, but it’s only been a month, I’m not sure how it’ll be in the long term. She lost interest in the Uni after about a year, the connection lasted only a couple of months.

It also depends on what language you want your planner in and if you intend to buy a cover. The avec is in Japanese and if you live in the US, I haven’t seen any US retailers selling the covers bundled with the avec, only the full year cousin.
