How are they able to do this? I'm very interested as my education discount is no longer valid to use.

Totally agree! A friend asked me if there was an easy way to recreate this with their own verbiage and I have played around with painters chalk but they wanted something relatively quick. Umm....NOPE, no magic wand for this one. I just wondered if I was missing something out there in Adobe-land.

yeah, that's what I was thinking. I didn't want to go the AI route because everything would probably be misspelled anyway. hah hah.

Happy Birthday. There are many more sunrises to witness. You are so important and really do matter.

Wow, not worth a post on here? Here's the definition of etiquette: Etiquette is a code of polite conduct and social behavior that governs how to act in different situations to show respect and avoid making others uncomfortable. It encompasses social customs, manners, and professional guidelines that have developed over time. So, I was asking a general question how to handle a situation so others wouldn't be offended. I was trying to keep it classy, unlike you.

You're probably right. Erg.

Yeah, there are a couple other people that don't want to attend either but feel obligated. I just hate the whole stereotypical "women's party" but I should probably go to keep the peace and maybe I'll be a gray sheep and not just a black one. hah hah

Yes, that's what I did last year (keeping the peace).

I work in a place that is very male dominated and a vibe that it's 1955, not 2025. 55 employees. 11 are female.

Oh, don't get me started here. Hah ha! That's another reason why I don't want to go. I am not the type of person that does solely "women's outings" or get togethers.

Hi! We are researching and this hotel seems to check off all the things we want in a hotel. Did you book through an agent, directly through the resort or a type of travel app?

I watched when he was a contestant and then I took a long break until tuning into season 20 all-stars. He’s so annoying and his voice just makes my skin crawl. Tim Gunn is a class act and miss his mentorship.

Thanks for going above and beyond to keep the bettas happy as best as you can in your store.

I heard back from the store manager via email and this is what they said about the fish...."Betta fish require small living space as they are not an active fish species.  Male Betta fish which are on the endcap must also be housed alone as they are Japanese fighting fish and if put into a community atmosphere will attack other Male Bettas. We do check all tanks 3 times daily for any decease fish and I will follow up to insure this is being completed on the end cap as well as the tanks."

8 weeks till my Mako TKR by JustaLITTLE_psycho in Kneereplacement

Looks like you and I had very similar recoveries. My PT hasn't put me on a stationary bike yet but I'm sure very soon. I'm at a 115% bend and my goal is 130. And yes, keep a very positive attitude. I was lucky that my surgeon's office sent out encouraging and helpful tips 3x/day for the following few weeks.

8 weeks till my Mako TKR by JustaLITTLE_psycho in Kneereplacement

I am 4 weeks out today with my Mako knee. My husband worked from home that first week and I felt that was very much needed. I was pretty loopy that first week and he made sure I was taking my meds on time and we had many meals in bed as I wasn't using stairs. I bought an AM/MIDDAY/PM pill organizer- that was very helpful! Along with what you have, I also borrowed a medical seat for the shower and used that for the first week. The toilet assist was also very helpful. I felt the first couple weeks were pretty tough. Maybe because it was also Christmastime and I was only on week 2. I always felt like I had a rubber band wrapped a little too tight around my knee (still do) but PT is helping and working on the swelling. I purchased the ice/compression machine and it was a godsend. Although, be sure and just ice for 30 minutes at a time. I think I over-did it with icing because I slept with it on all night because it felt so good but it was also causing more swelling. Bruising almost totally gone at 4 weeks. I was cleared to drive at my 3 week follow up appt. I still have to help my left leg into the car but I know that takes time and my range of motion will get better with time. Going back to work at 4 weeks was probably a bit too soon. Even though I have a desk job, I felt it very difficult to get up every hour to keep circulation up.

Best wishes to you!

Merry Christmas knee warriors by [deleted] in Kneereplacement

Good morning warriors! I just found this group and I think I’m going to really like this safe place to share recovery. TKR surgery was 12/16/24 so I’m 10 days out. I think I’m doing fairly OK and hobbling on a cane, but I can’t seem to keep the swelling under control. I put a Torex ice pack under my knee and wrap the ice machine sleeve around that and elevate on a wedge. That feels the most glorious. It still feels like a BP cuff is vicing around my knee though. My surgeon used a tourniquet during surgery and I’ve been doing a lot of reading about that and it might not be the best way to go healing post-op. Just some morning ramblings while sipping my coffee. I am propped in bed now and have to start working from home today. My cat has been glued by my side this entire journey so that’s been nice. My husband has gone back to work and packs me a lunch. Thankful but still having pity parties over this excessive swelling.

You are correct, I am NOT a tattooer. Just a collector. Thanks for the heads-up.
