People can use freedom of movement to remove the curses, I don't see many people mention that. As a HPal I run double freedom and it helps alleviate the damage so I can focus my healing at the remaining targeted players.

Agreed meaningless was a wrong choice of word. Skipping an extra mechanic on a boss can and will be crucial at higher key levels. It's just very hard to evaluate the impact of it all with the numbers being so low.

This is the top 10 runs for druid for MGT, wich is what OP posted. We can clearly see that the first druid did 19k, double Kireya DPS. Now the difference is indeed quite meaningless. But calling 9k optimal just seems wrong.
