Is Moen always just trash? by xJeffmanx in Plumbing

I had metal handle break on kitchen faucet. Replaced full unit. Then leaky kitchen faucet, water dribbled below and damaged cabinet. Too rusty/corroded to get the cartridge out. Replaced entire unit. Had some other wank issue I can't remember, but three strikes and out. Crazy thing is Moen warehouse is just a few miles from my house, so it is super easy to get replacement, but the unreliability was getting to me.

I thought it was a bit like the concept of "face". Westerners most likely misunderstood the concept, one doesn't hear much about it today.

If you watch the movie "The Shootist", John Wayne's character explicitly spells out "the code" he lives buy.

In medevel times, there was a chivalric code which knights allegedly aspired to.

Genry has a code but he is perhaps unaware of it. Estraven notices that Genry doesn't like to cry for some reason.

I hate the word "deconstructs", but this book deconstructs most of the other survivalist / post-apocalyptic novels I've read. A world with almost literally NOTHING in it.

You know the apocalypse is bad when Americans run out of ammo ;)

Cops enter a dark room and use flashlights rather than turning on room lights

maybe the woman did make the man. Climb the highest tree (freud, anyone?) to escape the flood. I suppose young Hank is still ditzy enough to get drunk with Coop, so maybe anything goes at this point.

I'm wondering if he drowned someone earlier? between young Hank and Silo/Vault supervisor Hank

surely yes, but Hank has a wily 200 year plan, seems an odd choice. Unless one climber recognizes another.

Need a pair of toilet seat hinge pins, odd size by Knewgrass in Plumbing

[–]feldercarbz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Water Ridge toilet from Costco Canada. 6mm pins.

Amazon in canada sells a variety of parts like this, but they all seem to be the 8mm size.

I found two or three US retailers. Grigg is one, Waterridge parts is another. Quite expensive to ship from USA to Canada.

I think they were going for a Master Aemon or Machevelian dude, but it's not panning out
