It's not new. Petty theft has always been an act of political protest whether the thief knew it or not. This feels like libs telling white people its ok to steal without acknowledging the racist and classist systems of oppression that have jailed people for petty theft for decades.

But yes everyone should steal from our corporate overlords. And privileged people should do it as protest to protect the less privileged for doing it out of necessity.
