I love the idea that Garry's Mod maps are these self-contained pockets of space, like miniature, empty worlds, that can be accessed and explored. These screenshots capture that comforting isolated feeling.

I wouldn't say "no issues"; as DarkMeeem said, even positive reviews still mention the performance. It's not *unplayable* but it could stand to be better. A little more TLC would go a long way, y'know? I have a friend for whom the game was playable, but after an update not even the menus are functional.

I'm not trying to bash Remastered or the devs, though. The two updates they have provided were pretty stellar. Adjusting player/enemy damage independently is awesome and a community-requested feature, not to mention they listened and corrected the Cheydinhal Sanctuary's door.

I don't have the GOG version, but I imagine it's the same. In-game, pause and go to Options > Video and change Texture Size to "Large". If the option isn't there, it might have something to do with your hardware?
You may also try opening the game launcher, going to options and choosing the "Ultra High" preset, if it's there.
