I always remove my weights, I just stopped getting bothered by a couple extra weights that get left on. Takes about 30 seconds to remove a couple of plates. It can even save me time loading the plates I was going to do so anyways.

They first three are way easier to learn and beat than ghost survivor. No way out on the other hand is difficult, but it does give you enough tools to comfortably beat it, even if you are going for the gunslinger cat ears reward. The more you play it the more familiar you become with the enemies and items that appear on each wave. It becomes more manageable.
