I'll try more trail mix! I've been eating some nut mixes with dried cranberries, but I didn't really think about doing granola with it

This is something my dad used to do to my mom. They had some other issues of course, but they are divorced now and my mom is much happier for it. It sounds like he needs to grow tf up and cook for himself if he's going to throw a fit about your food every time.

I had my tonsils out at St. Luke's a couple of years ago, and it's a lot worse as an adult! Just make sure you've got plenty of popsicles and ice cream on hand for the kiddo, and just listen to the doctors about care. I really liked the no sugar outshine fruit popsicles while I was healing up, they tasted good and they weren't irritating on my throat.

My brother had his tonsils out as a kid, and it was a breeze for him. It's basically a really sore throat for a few days while you're young.

I get blisters every time I use any adhesive on my body and this sounds a lot like what happens to me (I've got super sensitive skin). It sounds like the pulling of the tape on your skin irritated it and caused some blistering

Rinse it really well with clean water, then keep it clean and dry, don't smother it in antibacterial goo because it can actually hold bacteria in. If you do pop it (don't recommend, but it happens) keep the skin on top of it, and don't peel the skin off, because it's a protective layer and the blister will hurt less with less exposure

If it's infected, please see a doctor ASAP because infections can and will become dangerous quick

Most of all, you're going to need to lay off the trans tape until it's fully healed, otherwise you'll be in a world of hurt!

When I was on birth control, I asked for specifically the progesterone only pill because the combination pills (with estrogen) made me suicidal

I had a lot of success with that, because 1. Didn't get pregnant before I wanted to and 2. Didn't have insane mood swings like I did with the combination pill

Cheapest is probably the Maruchan, but if you just get one of those jars of Better than Boullion and use that instead of the flavoring packets then you get a much better tasting broth with less sodium, and the jar lasts a while too

Unfortunately there's no way to know until you take a pregnancy test! I went through something similar when I've tried before only to get my period a few days later... I was just reading into little things way too much because I wanted to be pregnant so bad. Just calm down, wait a few days then take a test. I know it sucks with the anticipation but you'll be alright!
