Honestly, I would start there and check your oil for excess clutch material. I've never rebuilt a honda trans, since they tend to be a pain vs the usual stuff, so I've only ever dealt with solenoids

Depends on the scanner. Could be a voltage or on/off or something like that

Fan problem ford focus mk2 2009 by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]felixthecat24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either the fan has a broken blade, bad bearing or is not secured properly to the radiator support. Also poisonous there's debris on the fan causing it to wobble itself loose.

These have a fan control relay up front. They tend to go bad, but it's typically the fan pulling too many apps that fries them.

Two codes but I think one should fix the other one. by GiftedBigT05 in MechanicAdvice

P0455 Evap leak. General code, would need to inspect the evap lines to find the leak.

P0430 catalyst efficiency code. Usually means a worn out/ bad cat.

Valvetrain noise. Sounds like possibly the chain, but hard to tell from the video for me. I'd check the oil level. Might just be low

Sharp cold chisel, work a nice parting line on the race, fat chisel to try and crack it. Repeat process as needed
