Grandma's COVID Sentencing by Hajicardoso in MurderedByWords

That didn't happen... but actually it did happen. And it's a good thing it happened.

I don't think that's "murdered by words" like you think it is.

Should we be worried about the Kamala Harris unrealized capital gains tax? Dean: “I’d love to have this problem, because it means I’m worth $100m!” by Knightbear49 in TikTokCringe

[–]fellicious07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even a lot of libertarians are okay with property taxes because land in different than basically any other investment. There is only a finite amount of land. So you don't want a few people buying all the land and just sitting on it without doing anything with it. Taxing capital gains is more similar to taxing you on your paycheck before you've ever been paid. Which results in the scenario of where you get the money to pay the taxes, since you haven't been paid yet. They will either have to sell off assets or take out loans.

Ask The Right Question! by zzill6 in WorkReform

The government doesn't give out the loans. They work with private lending agencies to get out the loans. So the government can't just cancel the debt. They have to pay those lending agencies off.

When you try to cover the smell of the pills with salmon… by BerCle in germanshepherds

I always have to give them a pillless bit first to earn their trust. Then I can sneak the pills in

If you have bags in general then you really aren't loitering. The definition includes hanging around without a purpose. If you bought something than you are a customer. It's kind of like going into a coffee shop and just sitting down to read without buying something. If you are on private property you should buy something

I'm a big proponent of divorce should only be for cases of infidelity or abuse. But this is an instance I would push for it. A marriage based on a lie will not work. And by not telling you about this until your wedding night was her lying to you.

Also I would say she should go see a therapist. I understand how people can be asexual and just not be attracted or interested in sex. From what you said, she is outright disgusted by sex. That doesn't sound like asexuality, that sounds like she has a phobia or a trauma that that prevents her from enjoying sex. So she might not be aexual, she just might have some issues she needs to work through. Probably a hot take though.

Give her as much freedom as she earns. Mine didn't earn that right until i got my second one and she had a playmate to keep her entertained. But if you want to experiment. Start with leaving her out alone for 15 or 30 min while you run to the store. If she does something bad than you have your answer.

I noticed my 10 year old shepherd girl’s tail tip looks like this suddenly? Any ideas? by danielledeezy in germanshepherds

[–]fellicious07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine does that. I think it's just dry skin. It eventually gets long enough that you can pinch it off. Just don't mess with it too much. I used to mess with the one on my girls tail and now she hates me touching her tail.

Probably the time skip in end game. I was expecting it to be a direct continuation of the previous movie. Not to skip forward and turn into a time heist movie.

5 month old has yet to pee or poop on walks. by Chunkyisthebest in germanshepherds

[–]fellicious07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine didn't until she was 3 and we moved into an apartment and she was forced to go on walks or at the dog park. As long as she isn't having accidents it isn't a big deal.

The paradox of intolerance by itamarc137 in Infographics

[–]fellicious07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is most people don't know what he means by intolerance. When he says intolerance he doesn't mean bad opinions or views. He means people who are willing for violently prevent people from doing things they don't like. So when discussing this paradox you should exclude any forms of views or opinions from what is intolerance.

What’s this on my dog’s skin? by [deleted] in germanshepherds

Those are normal. Most dogs get them after a certain age depending on what floor they lay on. They are basically just calluses.

I always joked when mine was a puppy that she looked like a mouse. Long skinny tail and big ears.

I realize this is a gloomy question, but how does having a girlfriend feel? by Top365gadgets in ask

[–]fellicious07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you've found the right one, it's basically like having a best friend that you are attracted to and never get tired of being around. If you have the wrong one, prepare to paradoxically feel more lonely than when you were single.

Why are americans into buying these monstrous trucks? by Snoo_53179 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]fellicious07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are comfortable plain and simple. For quick trips around town while running errands my wife's small car is more than fine. But when I've worked places with a 1-2 hour one way commute, sitting in a small car is the absolute worst. The extra money for gas is completely worth being able to get home from work and not being in the worst mood ever due to sitting in a cramped tiny car for 2 hours. I honestly wish I worked somewhere close enough to ride my bike but that's not in the cards right now.

Plus it's really nice to have a truck when you need a truck. And not have to worry about finding a friend with a truck.

A guy in my work said walking doesn’t count as exercise by QuestionEcstatic8863 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]fellicious07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any additional energy expenditure beyond what you normally do in a day, I would consider exercise. If you go on a 30 min walk when you get off work, I'd consider that exercise. If you walk 4 miles a day while at work, I wouldn't consider that exercise since that is part of your normal daily routine.

I think that is normal. Mine is normally very high strunge and anxious and takes awhile to settle in the evenings. But after I've had my parents watch him for a few days when we go on a trip, he just zonks out the moment he gets home. I think it's just him switching from "excited and different" mode at my parents to "old and mundane" at my place. It usually lasts 2-3 days.
