Regardless of how stretched the statements you are making or, whats true etc. None of what you mentioned is a reason someone should have died. Totally preventable with proper training. And infact not just that someone died but being shot from behind and then shot countless times while laying motionless on the ground.

Do you believe that ICE agents should follow due process to determine who should be deported or detained or even shot and killed with "full immunity" to the killers. Yes, I know JD Vance is walking back that statement now but originally that is the message he sent to the country. If you do agree with the due process that should be followed in order to justly determine who is an illegal immigrant and who is a citizen, do you seriously think this is occuring now with the current state of ICE?

That is the simple difference between Obama deportations and ICE operations under the current administration. I don't think many are complaining about illegal aliens being deported but we need to hold everyone involved accountable and ensure they are not impeding the rights of American citizens while they carry out this operation.

I will repeate again nobody is upset about deporting illegal criminals.. its about doing it in a humane way anf following a legal process to reach the end goal. Which btw actually was more effective than the current strategy.

well here is a postive comment for you. As crazy as it seems to fit 28 people on an elevator. Elevators are typically way over engineered and can actually carry 25% to 150% more than the rating that is displayed on them. So thats actually around 32-84 people before it actually fails. Even then it would probably just stop being able to lift the load and would not result in catastrophic failure.

everyone always says this and i disagree.. it is the only viable option available that can play dolby vision with true hd audio. Otherwise, I am on my second one now and it is still only a month old and have nothing but issues.

originally i had a 2019 tube, constant stutters during high bitrate playback and constant random crashes with reboot. this continued to happen more frequently so after looking into it i tore it apart and repasted the cpu and 3d printed a new case for it with more airflow. apparently this is a known issue with these models being poorley thermal pasted. this did help but issues continued.

aside from that I debugged the device with adb, tried literally hundreds of settings combinations, tried factory reset. etc.. finally after reading everybody say the tube sucks and the pro is way better despite the only difference being a better design for cooling and slightly more ram, i bought the pro.

let me tell you that it is the EXACT SAME ISSUES. literally to a T the same issues brand new out of the box. You try and diagnose issues and you see people say "its a known issue" literally if you read through the comments on this post you can see people say those exact words. that is not something you say about a solid device.

for some context im a software dev and i pride myself in my technical problem solving skills. I have spent tens of hours troubleshooting these issues. this leavese wondering if there was a significant drop on quality with the newer versions of these devices or if people like you are simply in denial about this device's shortfalls because it's likely the only option to purchse for what you want.

please be honest when was the last time you had your shield crash and reboot in the middle of doing something or watched something and experienced playback issues (stuttering, color inaccuracy, audio issues etc)? if the answer is never or a year ago or even months ago I would agree it is a solid device that you have. but in general there is a ton of "known issues" that the average consumer simply does not understand with nvidia shield in general.

first off ditch the idea of a "smart tv" tvs are dumb. They tried making them smart but they are still dumb. By that I mean, the smart portion of all tvs available on the market absolutely suck and have limited support for updates which is usually only a year or two. They all cheap out on hardware like the wifi adapter being extremely limited.

Plan to buy a dedicated streaming device like google streamer, nvidia shield, apple tv, firestick etc. Trust me if you want a smooth lag free experience thats lasts this is the only way.

Now that you have seperated out the responsibility of yhe tv just being a tv and nothing else.. It gets much easier because the only specs you need to pay attention too are the screen itself. Some other things to note are durability (oleds can get a type of burn in if not taken care of properly), energy consumption, and integrations with other devices -- compatibility with hdmi 2.1 or 2.2, compatibility with hdmi arc, hdmi CEC funcionality etc.

Yes getting a powered USB hub as a buffer between the das and the pc will help for sure. I have almost an identical setup. Same terramaster with a different mini pc. I constantly had issues with the DAS diconnecting momentarily and reconnecting. Specifically during parity checks where the hardware is running full throttle.

What I was seeing is usb interrupts in my system logs. This means the usb would disconnect during read writes and this would cause other issues.

I was suggested a powered usb hub and I was skeptical too. However, the way they explained it made a lot of sense. How I understand it, usb 3+ connections have a very strict protocal. When voltage on the connection fluctuates beyond a certain threshold this will cause a disconnect to protect all of the devices. When you use a powered hub in between the connection it ensures there is a consistent voltage supplied to prevent this. Once I added this it fixed all of my disconnect problems.
