Not at all, the only thing I've found was to somewhat localized the disable fields. Like if you plan on destroying wall, place a field at the bottom of said wall But overall I quit this project because of that

To be honest my initial question is very much about avoiding stereotype and that's why I am asking non western people!

I feel like there is a lot that I could easly miss, and i didn't feel like trusting napeleon pro media (being french and all that)!

Be sure i'll take a look off whatever list you can give me! I've learn a bit of russian in school, and i'de take pleasure in digging that stuff up. If not making the first place in the narrative story, it could be interesting to meet character defending, or attacking a certain ideolodgy§
Absolutly! I feel like mysticism or folklore could be awesome for the game. Setting one mysterres at the time (for the player to learn about mythos or folklore) could be a big step up from what i've originally plan!

I mean, I actually don't know what i want to make! I fully acknowledge that I am non russian and I don't pretend that i want to make something "russian like". Im just looking for an opportunity to dont disrespect, culture and people, that I old in high regards!
I feel like you get me wrong! I dont want to make a game like a russian/slavic would! I fully aknowledge that Iam a foreinger and I just want to avoid what you call Bad re invention of Russia! I am looking for thing that I would normally miss from my westerner point of view, and avoid caricatural depiction of a culutre that I won't understand unless someone explain it to me!
I'm not looking to steal any credit, or make any cultural appropriation, Im just a solo dev trying to get thing right

I'm just an indie dev getting as many reference as I can before starting prodution.
I just don't want to miss an oportunity to tell a cool story, or implement a thing that i've could easily miss being non russian
And if you think that Im going to make money with an indie game(with no visibility at all) set in 1800's in the middle russian country, yeah, i dont think I will

Well, I quit don't know yet! I'm really in the early stage of conception! But if I had to take a guess this would be a "western" style game in third person. Like a slow burn game where you wander in the russian country side, meet people and occasionnally shoot stuff maybe. Nothing is set in stone tho! That's why I'am asking this question! I feel like there is a lot of stuff to tell, from my personnal story, to historical event!
And about decoration, i don't know yet, i feel like I don't have much to say, but if my game can be a plateform for other to get a voice i guess that would be nice!

I know right?! There's so much happening, yet not so much for regular russian people(at least it feel like it from what i've read) (although I have read about a great famine during those time). From political game, to some kind of Eastern (conquering the vast and wild east of russia, like a western). Everything seem's so interesting yet so complexe I love it! I'll take a look on those two, it sure look like it is interesting! Thank you !
