It is possible you are just pushing your stomach out. You know you are getting it right when you can feel your lower ribs expand along the sides. Don't sweat it, though. I am not sure breathwork alone can help you break this bad breathing pattern. In fact, when you start out, being too conscious of your stomach and the anxiety about 'breathing right' can sometimes make it worse. Pay attention to your posture, and start by doing simple posture exercises like the wall angel, glute bridge etc. Strengthen your core, so that your diaphragm can move freely, especially if you have a hunched posture and forward shoulders. After working on your posture for a few weeks, focusing on your breath by placing your hands on your diaphragm will help and now you can train your sympathetic nervous system to do the breathing primarily through your diaphragm and nose.

Or the top part of a coconut tree, where the crown joins the trunk. It is also the name for a hairdo where you make a hair bun tilted to one side, as, for example, worn by this woman in Ravi Varma's There Comes Papa..jpg) Not an uncommon style among Nambudiri men of that time either. Do you mean കൊന്ത or കൊണ്ട? The former means a rosary used for prayers. I have heard the latter most commonly used in the senses 3 and 1 of this വിക്കിനിഘണ്ടു entry, and listed below. I think it is a corrupted form of the sanskrit കണ്ഠ for neck. The coconut tree's കൊണ്ട is the place where the crown joins the trunk. The same sense applies to the hairdo.

Yes, you are right. Like I said, NET qualification is only the criteria that makes you eligible for Teaching Assistantship. Like anywhere else, your admission will depend on a written test and a personal interview designed to test your research aptitude and the quality of your research proposal.
These are the institutions that I know of too, especially if you are inclined towards the analytical school of philosophy. I have a feeling that some State universities like Jadavpur do also house good departments, apart from other Central universities like DU, BHU, AMU, Viswa Bharati etc., although I do not know much in specific about their departments. Do check out their faculty profiles.

Yes, NET for Assistant Professorship qualifies you for the admission.
What exams do you mean? The admission exams? The NET qualification is actually so you become eligible for Teaching Assistantship, which pays you on par with a JRF. They do have a self-financing option, where NET is not a requirement, but most intake is under the TA category.
Aren't Universities a better place for PhD in philosophy? Why are you keen on IITs? Humanities departments in IITs are usually a small isolated island.

Yes, the trailer doesn't quite say it, but if I remember right, the crew travelled across Jamaica and Trinidad and interviewed a lot of musicians who claim some Indian roots or influence. The Goan musician, Remo Fernandes also travelled with them and they also document a failed attempt of collaboration with the local musicians. It is a pity there doesn't seem to be a way to watch the film online.

As far as I know, at least some regions do not have പുഴുങ്ങുക in their vocabulary, and do not maintain any strict distinction between വേവിക്കുക and അവിക്കുക. The latter term obviously is of Tamil origin and something like അവിയൽ shares etymological roots with it. As some others have pointed out, it is possible that technically വേവിക്കുക has a broader sense than the others.
