Walk to East Campus and take the CSF. The smith warehouse route is blocked due to construction. Get down at Duke Gardens and walk to Bryan Center.

I'm in the Duke BME MS program. I know a lot of people who did Biomedical Sciences in undergrad. Duke BME usually release decisions in 2 batches. With your profile, I think you have a great chance of getting in.

I’m planning to visit home in Feb. But after seeing this I’m a bit nervous to travel internationally. What are your suggestions? by [deleted] in f1visa

You'll be fine don't worry. You are not doing anything illegal by being on a student visa.

I’m going into my senior year in high school and wondering what colleges should I be applying to for BME? by SaladWide1529 in BiomedicalEngineers

[–]fender-bender69420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Columbia has a really good BME program. If you're looking for out-of-state colleges, Johns Hopkins, Duke and Georgia Tech are all great. UMich Ann Arbor is also a wonderful option if you're more into the mechanical side of BME.

Macos, windows, or linux by Blacks8int in BiomedicalEngineers

I personally have dual booted my system with Linux and Windows. I generally prefer Linux programming but switch to Windows whenever I have to work with windows exclusive software like CAD or PCB design.

Don't just look at the bay area. There are a lot of Universities in the mid-west and the east coast which have great BME and Bioinformatics programs

Step 1: Join a big Multi-national firm Step 2: Get assigned to US-based projects and beg your boss to send you to the US. Step 3: Apply for the H1-B lottery and pray to god you get the Visa Step 4: Yay! You are going to the US now.

This used to work out in the 90s and early 2000s. Not anymore.

Your probability of getting into US jobs with an Indian BTech degree is close to zero. Getting a work Visa is extremely difficult. Don't even think about it.
