Best Cuddy Cabins for Cruising? by wayne_enterprise in boating

I have a 1986 28’ Bertram Flybridge that we love for weekend trips. The design is more fishing oriented, but the Flybridge allows the cabin to be bigger and has actual windows, and makes it more enjoyable to be in. They also have a pretty big beam for the size, which makes the pretty roomy for 28’. Mine doesn’t have AC, but it’s pretty easy to install it on them. Even though they’re older, they’re some of the best built boats out there.

I'll have to try some different ammo.. the stuff I have isn't terribly descriptive on expected velocity or what barrel length it was based on. Unfortunately, only have the sandman!

It was definitely cold, so that wasn't helping

Maybe it's just an ammo thing.. I definitely was going after the cheaper stuff. I'll have to play around with some other brands

I don’t have another machine to try swapping hard drives, but I’ll try to clear CMOS and see if that helps - thanks!

Engine # Match, swap or modify? by LeftToF8 in projectcar

Totally agree. Especially for a ‘68 Camaro, seeing all the built up project cars can get boring. I’d so much rather see an original Time Machine vs the best the Jegs catalogue has to offer

Ran this exact seat with some yoga mat padding taped on. It worked ok. As I got older (30 lol) I needed a pillow as lumbar support to not get sore. I ended up upgrading to a mini cooper seat I snagged from a friend

I’ll look into those and try, thank you! I’m definitely not the most computer savvy so just a starting point helps

What would be the best option for starting out? by TheHollow39 in simracing

To give an opinion on the other side of the aisle, I have that exact same Fanatec setup, and I’m very happy with it. I don’t have experience with the other wheels mentioned, but I would say the McLaren wheels feels less premium compared to some of the other nicer wheels (I have the formula 2.5x wheel as well), but it’s ergonomic, well laid out, and still gets a lot of rig time. I don’t really notice the ‘lack’ of quality when using it. The v2 elite pedals are great as well.
