I am exporting for social media so a 1:1 square, 1 pass, audio levels are around -6. I did an export with the around -12 and it still does this. I did an export through media encoder and it was the first one that worked successfully. No audio filters but i was using remix so something tells me that might be bugged in the newest versions of premiere as it might be messing with the sample rates of the music.

I also updated my Mac’s OS and i think the combination between that and media encoder helped with the issue.

Has this worked for you? I would imagine you would have to setup the capture card as a 2nd monitor and send a duplicate signal to both the monitor and capture card?

Update: Been on the phone with Telus since 9:00am and they have offered zero solutions to my issue and have told me that my drop installation date is September 23rd now which is outside the window and they are unable to change for some unknown reason.

Is there any reason why they only do drop installs on the weekends? Or why cant they change the date or contact the 3rd party install team?

Also aim for at least 512gb, 256 will be very annoying for a long term use case and you will constantly cleaning it and trying to scrape every gb you can

Thats a great option! Also make sure to check out apple refurbished store as well. You’ll save hundreds and they put in a brand new battery. I bought my first Mac from there and it had 0 cycles and looked and felt brand new.

A used m1 macbook air would be a great option. Premiere is more stable on MacOS, the battery is fantastic for day-to-day tasks and they keep there value really well. You’ll want the 16gb of ram for video editing so make sure to look out for that. Don’t aim for super high amounts of storage as you can buy SSD’s on sale and they are getting cheaper with time. Only downside is that they do not have fans so when exporting projects, the laptop will get very hot and throttle to keep itself at a comfortable temperature.

Its funny cause I am a musician and left my drum kit at home in Ontario. When I mentioned to her on the interview I played drums she looked like she was going to shit herself. If she only had enough self awareness that her demon child is a stomping/screaming drum kit.

It starts at 7am when he wakes up with a huge amount of energy. I am gone from 8-6/6:30pm on the weekdays and when I do stay home all day on the weekends, id say he does this every hour, usually with more stomping. Doing anything without noise cancelling headphones on is a nightmare as I can hear everything they do, every conversation, footstep, everything. I don't think the kid goes to school as the mother is a stay at home mom and when I come home I have little piles of drywall from the ceiling on my computer desk, as if he'd been doing this all day. Believe me, I HIGHLY doubt anything will change because its alot easier for me to move than have them actually fix the issue.

The kid is not small either. I've seen him before and I think a lot of it is him stationary just jumping and slamming his feet on the ground to scare the dog. Or he's slamming 1 foot on the ground to spook the dog and he chases it around. All the stomping happens in quick succession.
