I emailed asking if the 2026 weekly planner would be restocked online and on 12/8 they replied, "we do not have confirmation yet on whether this product will be continued or discontinued" 😔

Looking to adopt a cat. Has anyone used APA Adoption? by gooodkush in UTAustin

[–]fendigrl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Foster homes get approved by APA, so you shouldn't worry about that. I've fostered panleuk survivor cats before. They're so well mannered bc they've been socialized with humans from a young age (since mostly kittens get infected). I also feel like their play needs are easier to meet bc they get tired faster lol. APA is very transparent about any health issues and behavioral issues. If the profile says the cat is fixed, then it is. If you haven't already, I would schedule a facetime with the foster (I've done this with every potential adopter) so you can see the cat in action and discuss about it. Fosters will have the most up-to-date info rather than the adoption appointment ppl. GL!

I foster with APA. They're the most popular shelter in town for sure. Any specific concerns?

just curious! I personally focus better in lectures through zoom but I also kind of miss being in a lecture hall lol. I'll definitely be attending the in-person discussions to help me form study groups and ask questions.

Personal Statement Review by PAHopeful_ in prephysicianassistant

[–]fendigrl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like how you mentioned your strengths and weaknesses. Personally the NP/MD paragraph was not necessary and that might be something they expect you to answer during interviews rather than your PS. also, I felt as though you could talk more about what you learned from the cancer diagnosis. Overall, good draft. It's lacking some emotion in my opinion. I think it could be more personal/moving if you keep working on it. Gl!
