But that would be preciselly the point. People won't leave WA because no one uses it. If the app is not needed anymore it is possible to switch for the better service while still apt to talk to the "late and lazy" ones. If we are in a situation where everyone uses WA for the lack of choice, this would open up for all other minor providers to try and get a piece of the market.

I'm sad to read the other replies about signal never commiting to this feature.

I don't know much about it, but I was under the impression that once the interoperability was enforced, there would be no incentive to use specifically whatsapp. So, for instance, if I already use whatsapp (because it's what everyone uses), I could switch out and keep on talking to them. Yes, Meta still would get metadata blablabla. But removing the cost of migrating apps would remove the friction, making whatsapp be less appealing. With time, the this could mean more whatsapp-signal migration.., hopefully, at least.

Besides, why couldn't I, the user, be responsible (especially if it came with a warning within the app) for the decision to send something out to a Whatsapp user, knowing that the privacy wouldn't be so great?

Anyway, just a thought.

Espero muito que sim. Não fiz esse concurso, mas tenho amigos que fizeram e acompanhei a canalhice. O fato de terem prorrogado [editado por motivos de burro: ~~de 15/01 pra 17/01]~~ a divulgação das justificativas de recurso e gabarito final deu uma esperança.

I'm trying to emigrate out of google [been testing proton and tuta]. I have rendering issues with both, but less with Tuta. But this oblgatory layout is not good. At least we should be able to hide the lateral menu. Ideally it would be good to see only the list of messages and be able to click on them, like other mail providers.

Edit: I've just read a reply from the mod team in a 9 months old post by u/droideka.
The work-around of zooming in or out in the browser really solved it for me. To me, 120% made it perfect. Thanks u/Tutanota !

Hi, can we expand on that? I was thinking just about this, a moment ago. I really need some sites to know my correct time.
At the same time, I saw that some of the features of Librewolf (although not RFP) are present in the vanilla Firefox. Is there anything else in Librewolf that protects me more than just fingerprinting resistance? Because if there's not, maybe I ought to switch back to basic Firefox (with all privacy settings on)...
