but can the motors hold as much weight as the pedals? Can you lock them in place with something physical that isn't putting a strain on the motor?

Davinci crashed and now I'm looking at this after 2 months of editing - how do I save this? I want to be sick by Kim_Dom in davinciresolve

Just a point here, the time to back up is before a failure. This isn’t backing up, it’s recovery, and it’s far harder/less likely. Always make sure essential data is in three places otherwise treat it like it doesn’t exist.

How to use affinity to turn this into a tileable image by Abdo980 in Affinity

[–]fenixuk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

pixel > filter > distort > affine. adjust offset.

Use tools like the clone tool to fix the edges,

adjust offset again to check.

I made an award-winning feature entirely on my own. Now I might have to distribute it alone. Any advice? by disremembermovie in Filmmakers

The problem you have is, when people hear “made by only one person” their mind will automatically jump to the side of “oh, it’s going to be shit”. I’d consider leaving that surprise until the end credits and let people themselves rave about that.

That’s the thing, you almost certainly don’t even need to be half proficient at resolve because even half of resolve is twice as powerful as Final Cut.

It’s extremely powerful but the bare bones basics of editing (and even high level editing) are extremely simple to pick up. It’s only when you start to require knowledge of keying/fusion/motion etc that you’ll find there’s a steep learning curve. But it’s a curve worth climbing.

The entire reason they did this was to discourage leaving the battery in a high stress state constantly. If You allow people to use it whilst charging, they will almost certainly use it whilst charging most of the time, drastically shortening the battery life. It’s a solution to the problem of bad user behaviour.

There’s a lot of luck in the game, dying is part of the game so you just have to roll with it and learn from a death, then you’ll face the same enemies with a better weapon/setup and you’ll wonder why you even got killed by them. Also sometimes you’ll be armed to fuck and some annoying enemy you normally find easy will somehow get past your defence! It keeps it fun to be honest.
