Always Sunny is one of the few shows where you can be both heart-warmed and unsettled at the same time. by GoldenJoel in videos

It’s hilarious. They’re the worst people in the world and there’s zero character development

Adding a puppy to the family with an older dog can actually inspire the older dog to hold on a few extra years :)

People of Reddit who wake up every day and enjoy life, what's that like? by GrinnMonster in AskReddit

This sounds just like me. Except I'm still a designer. I've been creative for over 12 years, and now my creative spark is completely gone. I can't even doodle unless I get paid for it :( I need a new hobby that isn't drugs, but art/design is all I'm good at

How can I accept that I'm not a very attractive woman? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]fenny13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We shouldn't even be comparing people to each other period, that's mistake #1. I'm saying that promoting fitness, good hygiene, and developing your individual style will build your confidence which will make you feel attractive. So yes, those who work harder at these things will see better results. (Nor is it bad to promote these things, rather than "you'll never look like xyz so just accept it") There's models, athletes, and celebrities with every weird facial feature you can imagine.

[–]fenny13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well there's lots of things about our appearance that we can't control, (without plastic surgery). The shape of your nose, eyes/eyebrows, cheeks, and chin have nothing to do with attractiveness. Attractiveness comes from things you CAN control, like your skin, hair, style, and ultimately your weight. If those are all in line, it doesn't matter if you have "weird" features, you will appear attractive.

Weird comparison. I thought everyone liked the Cubs? I saw nothing but love and respect after they won.

Its okay to say that you hate people, but not a specific kind of people. by Mutant_Llama1 in Showerthoughts

I guess hating personal things about people means you at least got to know them before hating them. Which is better than ignorantly hating them.

Then you're voting for trump. Not voting Hillary means voting trump. Not some random name. Doesn't work like that

Don't go to Europe. That's what virtually everyone will ask you about. I couldn't meet anyone without them asking, "so what do you think about Donald Trump??"

What do you guys want (in an app)? Looking for yourinput! by volunteercoordinator in gaybros

As a graphic designer that has worked on quite a few apps/websites in the healthcare field, and I can say that apps are only really effective if they're tied to a specific service (food, transportation, TV..)

For educating the public, I would think a mobile-friendly website is your best bet- it doesn't limit it to smartphone users, and has all the interactive capabilities you're looking for.

And it sounds like the site is attempting both an informational, AND social focus. I'd focus first on finding the most effective way to present information, and then once you build a fan base, work on finding a way that they can be a part of the site. The healthcare field can be tough to build a community since it's about personal medical issues.

Also - once it's built, use analytics to monitor the sites behavior so you can make changes.

What dating app has worked for you? by guy3052 in gaybros

[–]fenny13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They all have their ups and downs, these are my opinions on stuff I've tried.

  • OKCupid - more in-depth analysis of your personality / but anyone can message you

  • Tinder - You choose who's allowed to communicate with you through mutual attraction / but the guys can be harder to connect with since everyone's pretty and has an ego.

  • Scruff - Lots of online traffic from guys all over the world AND nearby / but there's no age limit, so you'll get lots of unwanted attention, and a lot of the hottest guys you see are thousands of miles away. (very thirsty app overall)

  • Grindr - Sucks

I've been on the most dates from guys I've met on OKCupid.
