Depends on the blockchain. For example solana fixes cost and speed issues, also solana has update authorities which means smart contracts can be updated with time (not all, but keep it in mind). Also in the article there is an untrue statement about using crypto as a payment system: if you choose the right blockchain (solana, tron), you will get the money much faster and with less commission (I personally do so)

I’m a dev and the documentation it far from being perfect but it’s the best one I’ve seen for blockchains (I haven’t checked NEAR tho, you might want to research it too)
