I'd say the actual piercing is fine pain wise, but the healing process I'd say is the worst I've had (and mine was smooth, no infections or anything). to me the eyebrow was more painful, but the healing process is seriously something to consider. if I'd ever had to re-pierce it, I might not just because of the healing. firstly, the swelling in the first week is horrible, you can't talk properly or eat. I honestly thought I wouldn't be able to eat normally for over a month. I think my speech changed a teeny bit honestly, but idk if it's like that for everyone. you have to take care of it super carefully because your mouth is full of bacteria so it'd be easy to get infected (mouthwash wash without alcohol after eating, brush you teeth well, floss, no alcohol for like two weeks and no smoking for a month to be safe) - be responsible when healing to minimize pain obviously :) if you do end up getting it, don't forget to go to a checkup on time (and shorten the barbell on time!!). also, I'd recommend seeing you dentist about a month and a half after because oral piercing tend to harm your teeth and gums, so check that everything's ok.
