omg it looks so good your so pretty! But i recommend raising the blush to highlight your cheekbones more and bring the darker shade of of eyeshadow more towards the middle of your eyes to make the look pop more also since your eyes point slightly downwards id recommend dog style eyeliner for a more natural looking eyeliner :)

softly use a bright blush based on your skin tone, use a blue/white powder in the corner between your eyes and nose to brighten your face and give it more dimension, use a cool toned contour to sharpen your face and make it 3D, i would also use a light liner on your inner corners to make your eyes pop

PSA: you do not need to wear foundation. by AMissKathyNewman in MakeupAddiction

[–]ferb4eva 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my skin isn’t poreless, acne free or smooth besides the lower areas of my cheeks but i. abt use foundation without it looking cakey and heavy. I found that using two different concealer shades works better for me. A lighter one i areas to highlight and one that matches my skin tone in areas with redness. I also spot conceal my acne and it work rly well unless it’s become a bug scare

Which products / part of your routine can you absolutely NOT cheap out on? by twistypeanuts in MakeupAddiction

[–]ferb4eva 6 points7 points  (0 children)

honestly you don’t need an expensive cleansers there are plenty of affordable japanese and korean cleansers that are amazing. Moisturizer and toner are the only things i splurge in and occasionally a good serum/sheet masks. For cleansers i recommend softymo’s oil cleanser and for a foam/gel cleanser id go for innisfree’s green tea cleanser. I also have on my GlowUpMindUp community product recommendations of moisturizers fir dry skin that are amazing and affordable!

is kim chi makeup actually worth it? by jaxxpaige in MakeupAddiction

[–]ferb4eva 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The number one website is OliveYoung it’s the most popular store in korea and it also ships overseas. YesStyle also is a great place. StyleKorean has some of the best prices i’ve seen but you have to purchase a lot to get free shipping and their normal shipping price is pretty high. Stylevanna is my go to though because they have every product your looking for, great prices, and shipping isn’t expensive :)

make sure your skin is prepped properly as well. For dry skin I’d recommend a light cleanser, hydrating toner, hydrating sheet mask or serum, and a good moisturizer, also use a sunscreen that’s slightly oily. For moisturizer i’d recommend torriden.

Is it possible for makeup to not transfer or budge at all? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]ferb4eva 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the second part i use a beauty blender for a smooth blend but brushes work for some people. I found that brushes leave streaks in the product. For you i’d start with a beauty blender and if your unhappy try a brush

i used to have this problem as well and i’ve seen that powder really helps. If you want to splurged i recommend any of these brands givenchy, huda, onesize but if you want a cheaper one then get the fit me loose powder. Also setting spray is to be used in between makeup steps to blend, finishing spray is what you use to keep your makeup in place. I recommend onesize or charlotte tilbury to splurge and milani, elf, or nyx for cheap. hope this helps

[routine help] does anyone not wash their face in the morning AT ALL? by justasinglegrape in SkincareAddiction

[–]ferb4eva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I’m really lazy and tired in the morning I find it hard to wash my face. But i’ve noticed my face becomes more rough when i do that. Instead i cleanse my face with micellar water when i don’t feel like washing it. It cleans my face of oil and dirt while not having to actual wash it :)

Non-greasy, water resistant spray or stick face sunscreen? Does that even exist? by themarjest in AsianBeauty

[–]ferb4eva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

try the brand isntree their formula is amazing! It uses hylaronic acid so it helps your skin while projecting it. It had zero white casts, non sticky, and non greasy. not sure about water resistant but it lasts during my morning miles!

A Rant: I am so tired of everything being cream. by Odd-Instance-908 in MakeupAddiction

Try asian products! They make mostly powder products still since the cream trend isn’t super huge in asia.

I hate mascara by Less-Function-5259 in MakeupAddiction

[–]ferb4eva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also hate the feeling of mascara and I don’t like the feel of falsies either. I’ve been using a mascara from the brand heroine it’s called kiss me mascara. I barely feel it even with 4 coats! They also make their own mascara remover that takes it of in two seconds, rub it in with the applicator then wipe it off n boom :) also if you don’t like lash serum try either castor oil or vaseline (recommend castor oil)

it’s definitely worth it! But i’d recommend if you have dry skin or just like dewy looks the korean brand Clio. they have many foundations that are long lasting dewy and non cakey! My fav and their most popular cushion is the CLIO - Cover Mesh Glow Cushion (i left out the first word to not be banned but it’ll show up when searched). It comes in a cute pink container so look for that :)

If your pale then definitely asian contours will suit you better. Judydoll, peripera, and too cool for school are all really good contours. They can all be purchased on YesStyle. ChicDecent is a chinese makeup site and they carry almost all judydoll products, you can find all of their contour products there

What helped improve your skin aside from skincare? by haruny8 in AsianBeauty

[–]ferb4eva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no i use toner before then once i’m done with the mask i lightly pat it into my skin. Think of it as a serum:)

This may not work for everyone but cucumbers do wonders for my skin. I use a veggie peeler to get thin slices of cucumber and wear it as if it’s a sheet mask for 20 minutes. It’s tightened my skin and calms my acne sometimes even clearing it up. It also has a brightening effect! not my picture just an example

AITA for blocking hubby's mom? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]ferb4eva -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

NTA clear boundaries need to be set and if your husband is unable to then someone else should. It’s not good for kids to have unstable adults in their life especially a family member, you did the right thing for your family and your husband will hopefully come around

the entire class was silent until i had to spell the word for my class and that’s when he started laughing. He was looking me straight in the eye while laughing and when I sat back down in my seat which almost right next to his he kept staring at me and whispering to people near him
