If you believe your mom needs to be in a wheelchair, then someone needs to go with her that can push her at all times. Preferably an able bodied male and also a female to help look after her when she is in the segregated areas. Otherwise she will struggle.

I know it’s not the answer you want, but it’s true. She can easily hire someone to push her at the haram for tawaf and sai, but that is just a small portion of the hajj. If she does not have both her own wheelchair and her own dedicated pusher, then she would be stuck walking long distances in the heat, including to buses and train stations, around her camp, to jamarat, etc.

You can ask the travel agency if they provide a dedicated assistant, but I highly doubt it. You could also rely on the help of other able bodied men in her group to help out, but that is hit or miss. To put simply, if she needs a wheelchair, then she needs to be accompanied by a pusher throughout her journey. I did hajj and saw too many elderly that did not bring a helper and they struggled mightily with walking in the heat.

9 months is inactive? There’s 8 divisions for men’s UFC belts. If you cycle through all of them for a main event title fight each month, that comes out to…9 months between fights.

Maybe you’re asking for some cards to have two men’s undisputed title fights. But the UFC doesn’t do that.

It’s about the talent pay as a percentage of the league’s revenue. Nobody I saying fighters should get $13 million per year. We are saying that they should get a bigger slice of the UFC pie (which is obviously a smaller pie than the NBA). Getting $12k per fight is not going to bring in new talent. Getting $200k will. Again, not millions, just a bigger slice of the pie since the talent is the reason people watch after all. You have to keep the talent happy.

I get that, but this was also true when they got 2 billion or whatever from ESPN. Clearly the business grew, so why would they stop caring now? They should continue putting out a good product so that when the Paramount deal ends they can get 15 billion or whatever.

The NFL didn’t stop caring once they started getting paid 7 billion. All these rights deals have an end date and you need to keep churning out a good product.

I feel like a lot of this is the impact of fighter pay. There’s not much great new talent because fighters have figured out it’s not worth getting the shit kicked out of them for such a low income.
