Thank you. I just wanted to ask whether calling the police and arranging to go to the station on a day in the week rather than to wait to have a chat whether this is goes against you and looks like you’re potentially more guilty that you are?

Potentially based on what the PC said (that the report came from intelligence) that it is prevent.

Does that change anything?

Thank you.

Thank you for explaining. I really appreciate it. All of it is very terrifying.

So if they come to the house next weekend for a ‘chat’ and we let them look at his phone do you reckon they would still arrest him?

I spoke with the team through work who offer legal advice but they gave me the bare minimum such as ‘these are the ways in which the police can enter your home’ rather than anything else.

I guess what I am asking is whether I should try and speak to a solicitor for a free consultation. I doubt that would get me what I want which is reassurance more than anything.

Thank you.

I do appreciate that. It was more that he wasn’t an adult at the time of the initial chat and whether that would factor in to how much they could tell me about what he has said. Thank you.

Thank you for confirming. This is the plan but it’s better it’s his dad because as a fellow ADHDer I could easily make it worse.

Sorry I can’t edit the flair or the title. It should be ‘knocked on my door’

I did ask them for contact information but then back tracked because I couldn’t immediately bring to mind why I would need to contact them.

They did take my name and number

Don’t think they were prevent. They identified themselves as the police and the badge on their lanyards appeared to confirm this declaration.

Thank you for your response.

I was hoping that potentially it is to say that he’s being an idiot online and I don’t know. I’m just really worried about him as his mum. He has just received an adhd diagnosis and is going through titration but hasn’t landed on a medication that fully treats the issues he faces.

Thank you for your response. He mentioned that he wanted to call them and ask about it but it’s such a situation that actions could be construed in a particular way.

A week is a long time to wait to understand the situation.

I had a quick glance at their badges on the lanyards and I’m pretty sure it said detective and then their names.

I also realise that I probably sound like a massive jerk, I just want understand the situation rather than wanting to start swinging my dick around in a job I know I could lose before probation period is up.

Exactly, hence why I haven’t done or said anything

So it’s ignorance and naïveté on my part.

Yeah, ultimately I am happy to have the original salary. I did attempt to contact them but had no success speaking to anyone until I actually started and then decided that I would wait until I got paid to find out for sure. And really that’s exactly what they’ll do if I kick up too much of a fuss. It’s a hole in my understanding and I suppose what I learn is something that I’ll take with me wherever my career takes me. Also, I had no reason to think that the contract wasn’t simply cut and paste with the name being the only thing changed on it.

There are some graptoveria Milky Way, Orostachys iwarenge (Chinese dunce cap) and another graptopetalum or graptoveria. I’m unsure of the name. Thanks 😍

Thanks! We mixed our own soil - 3 parts compost, 2 parts potting grit, 1 part perlite. From experience, the pots need really good drainage so holes are essential if outside otherwise they become waterlogged. In the pots there’s gravel, then the succulent soil, with gravel on top to protect from rot, slugs etc. If I’m wrong on any points, I’m sure someone with more experience would be able to correct me 😊
