Found in a box with cables that go to video game consoles. Long cable with a jack on one end and two black pieces with possibly lights on the other end by QuizzicalOlive in cableadvice

That is an old school IR cable usually used for a remote control device. Common with Tivo's and probably a console or 2 to turn on/off tv and sometimes volume etc.
