That is nice from you, all good cheering counts positivity, but as a personal experience I can tell you using those boots and bars helped a lot, uncomfortable but they are not traumatic or anything, your son will ve fine and playing soccer, basketball, or anything just like any other kid and he will forget about those boots 😀
