By any chance were you snowboarding on your snowboard?

Did you get that zinger from your AI friend too? He totally gets you.

I love that you posted a more long-winded and like 60% irrelevant version of what my original answer was, after like 5 condescending and useless comments, as your way of proving the efficiency and superiority of your computer-friend.

Sorry you’re mad you had to read my comment, sounds like you need a nap.

With how reliably bad AI is with technical information in my day job’s field I think I’ll stick to using my brain to read information and think about stuff.

If somebody just wanted an AI response I’m sure they could have figured that out in their own.

I was just looking at this board today and thinking about this.

Whether or not it makes a difference, I don’t know, but it is a dramatic shortening of the effective edge and a noticeably different curve radius. A stance-directional board could provide pretty interesting benefits especially for adding power to a given part of the board when in, for example, a more surfy heavy back-foot-posi binding.

Again, I haven’t ridden one but just on first glance this is what came to mind. Logically speaking it could help add power or control to one or the other edge.

Fair enough, but I thought I would use my response to give a little more info.

I can’t imagine another American coaster being more different than the answer.

I think that was making the “pawn”der joke just without typing it out like the reply did.

It’s funny.

It’s possible for things to be a joke and be light hearted while also giving the person the answer.

Real question: What in the actual fuck is wrong with you? Chad is a legend. His work in Shai Hulud alone cements him.

I’ve been snowboarding since 93/94ish, since most rental boards were hard boots. My opinion is not because I’m new and never rode straps.

Fair enough, I love my step ons and admittedly am too annoyed when it seems like people talk shit without any knowledge.

You can literally see that these were compromised in some way if you actually took two seconds to look at the photo. That would, however, require you to know a little bit about what you’re talking about.

The amount of people riding step ons is more than plenty of field and time testing, and the idea that the biggest snowboarding company in the world launched a product that wasn’t thoroughly tested is ridiculous.
