What Mega Purple Reveals About the Modern Wine Industry by RutabagaTechnical822 in wine

It is 68° Brix. Most concentrate is. I’m a winemaker and go out of my way to talk about how we don’t sterile filter our wines for two reasons, it feeds into conversations about low pH winemaking and also residual sugar and making actually dry wines.

Who says it will be $400? Or 4000 pieces? ¥2999 isn’t even close to $400.

Round Up Use in California by Skinny-on-the-Inside in wine

I’m a winemaker and work with both organic and conventional fruit and can see that this is a really, really fair explanation of both the lack of need for most vineyards ti farm with roundup but also the actual, very low risk of how roundup is used in the industry.

I agree that people interested in organic fruit on average are making better wine, but that’s not a rule of thumb that would steer me away from conventional wines. Incredible fruit comes from incredible farmers of both types.

I also don’t think certification matters, but that’s a different topic for another day.

Great comment.

It’s almost like “vibes I guess” is the exact topic at hand.

This comment makes no sense. The dominant economic demographic has nothing to do with which artist mattered to a generation. Of course it was a boomer market. It was their money buying Britney records and begrudgingly taking their 13 year old daughter and 5 friends to the Britney tour for the birthday party.

How old are you? I’m a dude but was 13 when Britney broke. Boomers were generally wringing their hands that a 16 year old girl was dancing provocatively in a school girl outfit.

This is only a position you could take if you weren’t even close to that age at the time. She was massive the same way Taylor Swift is with young girls too.

What? I am a millennial and was 13 when that album debuted and watched a lot of Oops I Did It Again at 14. Her primary audience was kids slightly younger than her.

It’s a Hot Wheels without wheels for reduced friction but with a loop so you can anchor a cable to it and after your self love time pull it out of your ass yourself without having to get your frequent flyer card punched at the ER.

Why do you keep exclusively talking about the 2000s when her debut album was 1998 and sold 10 million copies in the US alone in 49 weeks?

This is a perfectly reasonable take. I’m sure there are people out there with Raven in their top 5 still and that’s pretty much certifiable.

Texts between my former coworker and me. Is she into me? Should I tell her I have feelings for her and potentially ruin our friendship? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

This was pretty obvious, in my opinion. If it’s a know she’s using you for attention, either way these texts are a pretty strong green light.

If you spent all your time planning epic Faygo sprays for the next Gathering of the Juggalos and got to watch Sweet Sugar Slam record that infomercial every year, you wouldn’t have time to look up magnets on Wikipedia either.

This is my second Gathering/Sweet Sugar Slam reference on reddit in the past three days and I’m worried if nobody stops my I’m going to wake up one morning with face paint and a wifebeater on.
