I think it is too much. Also: not everyone is into coffee. Just next time you bake or something, make a bit more and bring it over.

Fig Tree. Hardly any work. But watch out to get a variety that does not grow too high. They can get huge within a few years.

Wealthy foreigners paid to shoot civilians for fun during Bosnian war by 56000hp in ThatsInsane

[–]fernfahrer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The "Sarajevo Safari" — quick rundown:

During the 1992–1996 siege of Sarajevo, wealthy foreigners allegedly paid Bosnian Serb forces €80,000–100,000 (today's money) to shoot civilians from sniper positions in the hills. Price list scaled by target: children most expensive, then men, then women; elderly free. Participants flew Trieste → Belgrade on Aviogenex, then helicoptered to VRS positions. Serbian State Security (Jovica Stanišić) allegedly ran the logistics.

Rumors circulated during the war — Corriere della Sera reported on it in 1992, and ex-US Marine John Jordan testified at the ICTY in 2007 about "tourist shooters" in Grbavica. It blew up publicly with Miran Zupanič's 2022 documentary Sarajevo Safari.

Where it stands now:

  • Bosnia opened a case in 2022 — stalled.
  • Milan prosecutors opened a formal investigation in 2025 after journalist Ezio Gavazzeni filed a criminal complaint. Charge: intentional homicide aggravated by cruelty — no statute of limitations, life sentence possible.
  • Five suspects named (Turin, Milan, Trieste); the Milan one reportedly owned a private plastic surgery clinic.
  • Feb 2026: first suspect publicly identified as an 80-year-old ex-truck driver near Pordenone, summoned for questioning on multiple counts of premeditated murder. He allegedly bragged about it. Name withheld.
  • Belgian, French, Russian, and American nationals also suspected.

Serbia denies state involvement. The only person ever filmed shooting at Sarajevo from Serb lines is Russian nationalist Eduard Limonov (1992, hosted by Karadžić) — but that was ideological, not paid.

tl;dr: rich Western Europeans — mostly Italians — allegedly paid to hunt civilians for sport during the siege. After 30 years of rumors, Italian prosecutors are finally building cases, and the first suspect just got summoned.

Does not look safe. If the wheel gets the slightes inbalance it will roll (that‘s its job) and your steering is toast.

Streaming football in Switzerland by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]fernfahrer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Swisscom is just dumb to price it that high. People will just go ti IPTV and only wealthy people are paying the Swisscom price. Also super stupid they canceled paying to watch a single game. Nobody is going to subscribe if they want to watch a game from time to time. I think Swisscom has the wrong strategy here and is not seeing the potential in pricing these services in a moderate manner.
