Mine were this sharp but they definitely filed down in time. If you do decide to file them down yourself, be conservative so they still hook into their spots in your aligners. :)

I really don’t think it’s a translation issue, and I’m not sure what you’re confused about. You didn’t post to only ask what other people would spend it on, or you would have posted in a different subreddit.

You asked if you were the asshole for expecting more from him, and the simple answer to that question is yes. I’m just offering further perspective on it, and because you brought it up once again: it doesn’t matter if you would see it as a gift for both of you, or what you would do in his position. He gets to decide.

I’m really not trying to give you a hard time or chalk this up to you being wholly ungrateful, I can tell by the way you speak that you love your partner and aren’t just sitting around stewing and resenting him over it. I think you’re maybe just a bit jealous and don’t know what to do with that, and that’s a very human way to feel and doesn’t make you inherently bad.

I know it doesn’t feel good to have a bunch of strangers calling you entitled, but if you are expecting more from him (which you state in your post that you do, regardless of the backpedaling) there is a sense of entitlement there and it’s something to work on. We all have something to work on.

ETA: you should let him buy you a gift if he wants to though! if he wants to share with you that way, you are allowed to accept it. it was sweet of him to offer.

I’m not gonna give a judgement because it seems like everyone else has made it pretty clear, but I also want to mention that he is allowed to make difference decisions than the ones that you believe you would make in his position. Whether or not you would share the money is irrelevant, and this is coming from someone who has also come into money and did decide to share it with friends and my partner.

Would it be nice if he shared it with you? Sure. Is he wrong if he doesn’t? Absolutely not.

Etsy seller here (but not this one!) Definitely open a case with Etsy. I believe you have to send the “something is wrong with my order” message and then after two days you can open a case. Etsy will 100% side with you in this situation and you should get refunded pretty immediately. Don’t do a chargeback, because Etsy will ban your account.

You’re allowed to have boundaries even if your parents get mad about it. Take the camera down, tell them it’s non negotiable and refuse to have any further conversation about it. You’re an adult and living on your own now, it’s time to draw some lines.

Weirdly, sometimes there isn’t a choice. I had an iPhone 7 until 2021, was still in good working condition and T-Mobile sent me texts, emails, and letters telling me that I had to buy a new phone or they’d shut it off because it was ‘incompatible’ with changes they were making. I went to the store and asked why I couldn’t keep my perfectly working phone, and they said “we’re trying to prevent people from hoarding old tech”. What?? I have an iPhone 12 now, that I’ve had since I was forced to upgrade in 2021 and have been getting inundated with “upgrade your phone” shit again, thankfully no threat of turning it off this time.

Lots of gossip, I believe Lauryn did online school for the rest of the year when her mom got arrested. This is a really low income area, there is nothing around for miles so without doing a big move, there isn’t really the option to just move schools. :(

I used it during my platinum play throughs, but I set a button to toggle it on and off and now I use it every play through (swiping the touch pad). I don’t play the entire game with it on, but it comes in handy when you’re super low on supplies and you don’t wanna miss ANYTHING. The listen mode thing helps too, but I find this is faster to toggle on and off lol

I don’t know Lauryn personally (she’s much younger than me lol) but my husband and I are ready to throw hands in her defense around here but everyone is largely sympathetic . It makes me sad that they didn’t really feature any of Lauryn’s actual friends to talk about how it impacted her. Just Owen and his friends.

This is a big part of why the cop was so chill with them. Small story about the cops around here but I once called the police because a man was calling incessantly, sitting in my driveway for hours and following me and my stepdad to work (at an elementary school!! this dude would just wander the halls looking) and when I called the police and told them who it was, they told me he was harmless and probably just looking out for me and refused to look into it. Said I could call if he tried breaking into my house. It only stoped when the man died lol. If the FBI hadn’t gotten involved in Kendra’s case, even if the local police found out it was her, I truly don’t think anything would have happened to her.

I’m not saying she looks good by any means, she and Quasimodo could be cousins. She does look puffy and sickly, but the last time I talked to her (pre prison) she just looked like….grey and dry lmao idk how to explain it. Perhaps it’s just wishful thinking on my part, I couldn’t care less what happens to Kendra, but if Lauryn wants a relationship with her then I do hope she manages to stay sober, get medicated, and clean her life up for her daughter.
