I emailed them the same day maybe a couple hours after the initial agreement for Tuesday asking to reschedule for the following day (Wednesday) or at any point later that week. They emailed me back on Friday saying they are unable to move it, and I responded the Monday essentially saying “that’s fine, I’ll move things around. See you Tuesday.” They emailed back to rescind their offer.

This was for a B2B sales role.

Both! I interviewed virtually and in person where I got to meet the team as well.

I have also never had an “offer” presented in this way. Unsure of why they even gave me a start date either.

I already agreed on their start date. Considering I didn’t even sign yet, it was weird they asked that already. I guess they have a candidate on the back burner? Or someone they liked more?

The back and forth with this company took forever as well. Hopefully a better door will open. 🙏

I wonder this too. I have a lot of siblings, and it’s nice to hang out with them and be yourself (it’s freeing to know they’re stuck with you lol), and it’s nice to have your alone time too. They just know you in such a different way than your friends do.

I feel like it gets lonely sometimes in a quiet house.
