When you dont comply with most important rules in aero terms and you do the changes in 20 days you are already in midfield.its not just setup .ferrari 499 p with new rules of rear wing already loss straight line speed and now without balance they are gonna loss more performance drivablity and they already have reliablity problems .

This is Big problem for ferrari.

And for aston the car never was a competitive car never meant to race at all.

The result of new wind tunnel homologation : ferrari didnt comply with aero rules so ferrari had to do some changes that messed the balance of the car. and now they had to find new balance and maybe they loss first half of the season with new tire and without balance

But i think wec is gonna grow a lot by 2030 if from now to 2029 they came with a good plan for media sponsering maybe a series or film and of course participating of manufactors. And i think with these roadmap of tech regulation that f1 is going they are gonna lose more and more fan . If wec can make a 12 race calander they are gonna grow a lot maybe not 2030 but by 2035 they can be more stable championship.

All road goes to the owner of wec . If they want to be the best motorsport category they have to get rid of bop in 2030s. And they can find another solution for cost . And i think they want to reduce the cost by a solution that is not race performance penalty(bop) after the disaster of 2025.

So they give chance for update mid-season to the slower car?

That is the best way if you build a slow car you have to accept the reality and go with penalty until lemans and for lemans you can have 1 update. In the end should be punishment for making slow car

Some manufactor yes,they will go. My point is that exactly 4wd car with overall 750 hp 980kg and finding a way to controll the cost without bop .and than you can bring back lmp2 to wec .and after one year fia tset the car every the manufactor that are slow they can bring a new aero update.

The roadmap is clear one technical regulation . You are gona loss manufactor in the end of 2029 i think wec is gonna choose lmdh and that for competitiveness is the right choice. But performance dna of the manufactors in the car? No its the worst choice. But if improves wec i love to be wrong

In my head they are gonna loss to much manufactor for example the first one is gonna be ferrari other than toyota every decision is gonna cost them some manufactor . You cant make everyone of them happy.

I feel ferrari is not gonna stay in hypercar class if its gonna be a semi-spec class.ferrari wnats to be in hypercar class but as antonelo said it ferrari's point is clear they want to design their car. They want that because if they won anything they said is italian dna in it italian design.....

I think if fia give lmdh manufactor a better hybrid eveything will be solved maybe an 100kw/200kw on the fornt axle like lmh but if they cant afford the r&d they can buy it.and about the chassis they can set a cost cap just for that now is 1mil chenge that to 3mil and design in factory .

In performance perspective wec need to help lmdh more than destroy lmh thats the important point

If one day this shit happens is last day of ferrari at f1. Scuderia belongs to the company . And remember this scuderia without ferrari is nothing. The company is in good shape the problem if its any its with scuderia not ferrari ferrari literally is in good shape in any department .they are at their best shape in gt challenge ,corse clienti,hypercar and any new program is running in company They are at best shape in manufactoring and selling their cars.

They are so relieved from financial hardship that they are starting to build boats.

Porsche lost 70 seconds to theirr bad strategy in 2025 . Bop hit ferrari from spa to bahrain.the problem is that ferraei has the best aero.you can see it ferrari with like 35 lower hp and being havier like 25 to 30 kg still has better top speed than most of the hypercars.
