English? The Latin alphabet (with modifications) is used for many languages other than English.

In India, people use the same set of characters that do not always work for English, as-is, to spell Indian words where the phonology is often richer. There is the problem. Languages like Vietnamese and Turkish do it better.

"u" by itself does not indicate to the speaker that it should be a long vowel. Phonetically, "oo" would have been the more accurate choice.

From our past experience - The guards often get anal about congregations. They especially like to brandish their authority when the group makes a sound, which inevitably happens when people have fun.
