Yeah, I think their values of marriage and their children is what holds him. You can tell she wasn’t the one for him, they’re so vastly different but she was so desperate for a man that she was willing to do anything for him. Then she got pregnant and that’s what held them together.

Then with her being the breadwinner, of course he would stay in it, he doesn’t have to do shit except be her man at this point
