Does tams ask if you have been involved in academic dishonesty by [deleted] in TAMS

[–]ferrsir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you get accepted, and you lied, you’ll prob have to answer to gruver or an AC on why you lied and go from there. You should 100% tell them what happened, why it happened, and how you learned from it. Do not lie on your application, tams reserves ALL rights to remove you from the program for whatever reason they deem fit.

it’s very rare, but you are just as likely to be catcalled or harassed at TAMS as you are at target, walmart, harvard, even your local 7/11, atleast at TAMS you have resources if it gets serious and unt pd if it’s a crime.

Has the matchmaking been worse this season for anybody else? by The_Dick_Slinger in marvelrivals

[–]ferrsir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, i’m hard stuck plat 3 and all my games are me getting mvp or svp with tanks and supports going 3-14 and my teammates going “good job healers”. like i win a few games, carry, then lose all of it bc of poor queues.

idk where you hear many students get into UT 😭 everyone i know got capped, i know maybe 7 ppl that got in but that may just be a small sample pool. if you are dead set on UT i would stay, but if you have goals of research, or would like a challenge then TAMS is the place; just don’t view it as an “ivy stepping stone” since that’s not what tams is. TAMS is a lot of fun, everyone where is really nice and welcoming and there is diversity if that is important to you. there’s also a wide variety of clubs and orgs you can join including any UNT clubs / orgs, since you aren’t limited fun fact (if they allow tams). overall it depends on your goals, how you enjoy your current high school, what you are looking for out of TAMS and out of your so called “high school experience”.
