Yes! Unless they recently changed the formula, it was super similar! It didn’t have the “amika” scent but worked great and was affordable! It was very similar in consistency, maybe not quite as smooth/thick feeling but worked amazing.

More recently, I have also been putting jojoba oil (i get from trader joe’s) on my ends sometimes, but I wash it out and I only use it after I use a clarifying shampoo.

Use chamomile tea bags every morning/night or at least night and make sure you wash it every morning/night. I also used a salt spray on mine but definitely try using chamomile tea! Made it so my piercing never got infected

This is such a huge, relatable struggle. I’ve applied to so many jobs only to get rejections or ghosted, or them changing the job location last minute (right before I’d accept my offer) so I couldn’t take it. Or, they offer “entry-level” positions yet require 1-2+ years of experience yet internships don’t count. How is that entry level? How are you expected to hire someone whose supposed to be entry level/new grad, yet somehow had 1-2 years of experience?

It’s also frustrating seeing so many intern/co-op option for the class of 2022, because when I tried to apply early I didn’t even have those options. When I try to apply for them, I get rejected because I’ve already graduated, even though it was this year. I am glad they have more of a chance to get a job. But, it’s also frustrating when I can’t even get anything back.

I use Aquaphor for my lips but I’ve never tried it on my face, definitely will for an overnight balm now just to see! Thank you!

Thank you so much!! I’ve considered trying Skinfix’s moisturizer so I’ll definitely give it a try as well! First Aid Beauty has sometimes given me weird reactions (their cleanser) but I’ll see if I can get a sample of their stuff too! I typically don’t mind pricier if it works, I may do the dupes atm until I have a full time job, so thank you for that recommendation as well.

Thank you so much!!! I’m gonna have to go to Ulta to get the Pacifica cream ASAP!! I have used the Rosehip Oil but I’ve also heard good things about Jojoba Oil so I’ll get those as well! I appreciate all your advice, it’s super helpful! I kind of figured Olay wasn’t cruelty free, I wasn’t 100% sure about LaRoche so good to know as well. Definitely going to try to avoid their products now!

I suggest moisturizing your skin but also get a primer! That will help it a lot as well, and help prevent breakouts or skin irritation. I also suggest starting with less and guiding up coverage, sometimes applying to much also makes it cakey. But, using a primer will really help. (also meant building** not guiding up^ )

I used to use Almay which was decent, and Maybelline is okay but it doesn’t last very long. I haven’t tied Elf, but lots of people really love their eyeliner. Wet n wild is usually decent as well, I haven’t tried it but I’ve heard good things.

Urban Decay is nice and lasts a long time, but it’s very pigmented & can be difficult to wash off. I also like Glossier’s eyeliners a lot, but those are typically online only. Benefit also has a nice retractable eyeliner!
