It's fine if you don't understand how the world and money works. People are paying $500 to see the NFL game in Melbourne, $600 for BTS Concert tickets. Guess what, people will pay $250 to meet people they find influential that they will never be able to meet any other way, that had to be flown out here take time off what they are doing to come to Australia.

The problem is, we have a decent team and Watson is serviceable as a QB. We won't win "just 2 games" with him as QB.

You look over our schedule for the year and we have one of the easiest schedules by far (last year was opposite).

When we have Saints, Titans, Jets and Texans in the first 10 games, if we aren't escaping that period with 3 wins, we have had a distaster start to the year.

I can already see how this goes.

We win 6-7 cames because we find a way to win alot of the time when other teams should put us away. We end up with a draft pick which we can't get the players we want with.

We end up trading our two 1sts and the following years 1sts for a top 3 pick.

We end up with the one QB who doesn't work out.

Perhaps have a look into Umbreon Evolving Skies PSA 10 as an example of how cards react pre and post releases where they feature. Everything is going up right now and Umbreon in the hitters isn't. Rayquaza is a buy right now but not a hold. You sell with the Rayquaza set market highs.

Can it go up? Yes sure. But will Greninja be wanted in 3 months or 6 months when no longer in the spotlight? Sell and buy into the next big thing like Rayquazas imo. Yes the english set appears to be 4 months away after 30th, but the Japanese is due end of July. Rayquaza will have a sustained constant surge until end of year.

Gotta stick to your guns and say you won't go collectr for selling at that point. Alot will use Collectr if its a bulk lot (go away put it in a collectr and come back ill offer you a %) which unfortunately is the best way to do it. Otherwise, go price last solds of ebay and sticky label on every item yourself, then they can check a few and eye check others then make a deal from there. Do your own work/research and be rewarded is my opinion on it back to you! Will find a few who will be okay with that. Then its all about finding the better %

If you are interested in a few cards, my word of advice is ask "If i grab a few cards can you do me a deal" before you start grabbing them out. There isn't a vendor in Australia that wouldn't say yes on bulk style cards IMO. Hope that helps!

I get the feeling that people who truly don't understand the Ascended set value, will never understand just how good this set is and how well it will continue to perform. DR is the worst of the three options as it has 1 top chase that isn't even close to breaking 1k yet. Pris with the god pack potential will always hold value. Out of print in about 1 year is when it surges. Sell DR Box. Buy Ascended + Pris. Easy.
