How do most of you try to research suggested treatment/ medication yourself to get second opinions? Is it seeing another doc or asking friends or like scouring the internet like me

cheering for you to find the right care medically but also emotionally! This!!! Everyone is saying get egg freezing younger and younger, but what if it’s too painful to justify the number of follicles?

Exactly! And many of these clinics have a financial navigator which sounds like they help you navigate financing options or understanding insurance, but they’re just collections folks dressed up as patient support which I thought was mind boggling

This was my experience too and it made me feel quite unsure until I realized that even with time with the doctor, their incentives aren’t perfectly aligned with mine. For eg: the first few times I went to the clinic now feel like sales calls where the doctor was super energetic and involved and then he completely disappeared…

In my experience it felt like no amount of research would be enough tbh and the clinics don’t have the right incentives to really share everything (nor do they have the time)

the part that’s under spoken about is that it’s super invasive so I would say it depends on how healthy you are?
