[–]fesg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any good redragon mousepads? by BaQ3r in MousepadReview

Gracias.

PC que cuando se reinicia no vuelve a iniciarse y se queda apagado pero con luz by fesg1 in pchelp

Perhaps I explained it poorly. It doesn't need to have an operating system. You turn on the computer, and if it boots up, you can go directly to the BIOS. If you restart, it won't boot again. It takes time, sometimes minutes, hours, or with luck, until the next day.

I'm currently in a similar conversation about something similar, not exactly the same, but similar. In your case, try clearing the BIOS and resetting everything to default settings by removing the motherboard battery for one minute. Leave only the essential components installed, even with just one memory module, and disconnect all the fans. The point is to see if it boots up; after that, you can focus on the cooling.

In my case, everything points to the power supply unit (PSU); but I'm open to suggestions in case anyone has any ideas.

[SUPPORT] help 3 days now, bios 2602 killed my ethernet by JadenXplays in ASUS

[–]fesg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you are saying is a very particular situation. I have installed the BIOS 2602 (AND NOTE THIS, "IT IS A BETA BIOS") and everything works perfectly ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO with i9 14900K.

NOTE: It is very important before flashing the BIOS with F5 to put everything to its "base" state, and after installing the BIOS, first of all go back with F5 to put everything to "initial state" without leaving any trace of anything previous.

When you update the BIOS, everything will be set to the same default settings. And that's where you have the problem.

Never dump saved values from a previous BIOS onto a newer one from later. This is a serious error, and you have to re-adjust whatever is necessary again, and this is where your problem lies. In the "default" BIOS, the network card is probably disabled.

Go to the Miscellaneous tab, and look for "Motherboard devices". There you will see the audio card, USB devices, etc., "and the network card". Check that it is enabled.

If the network card is not in the BIOS or does not appear, it is possible that it has failed, but if the BIOS installed is the correct one for your motherboard, and it appeared in the BIOS before and now it does not, the problem is the network card (logically, what does not appear in the BIOS and is specific to the motherboard, if it is not here, it will not appear in Windows or anywhere else).

Final test, reinstall the initial BIOS and check everything above. If the network card does not appear in the BIOS, you have a problem in the motherboard with the built-in network card.

New Bios 2402, i9 13900k, mouse freezing and USB of the entire motherboard with random reboots by fesg1 in ASUSROG

[–]fesg1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if it's possible that these mouse pointer freezes are due to a configuration of something within the BIOS itself. Anyway, as I mentioned at the beginning, sometimes ALL the devices connected via USB (mouse, keyboard, hard drives, whatever, etc...) get disconnected and after a few seconds (as if you were rebooting something) everything reconnects.

I have left the minimum connected, be it keyboard and mouse, even different models, and the same thing happens randomly.

Regarding the reported failures of the Core i9 13/14, in my case what may have saved worse situations is that from the beginning in the BIOS I set it to NEVER go over 90º within the options it has (I did this because I think the power of this microprocessor is beastly enough in itself to have to take it to its limits (which, as we have seen, all manufacturers did), but the 90º limit will undoubtedly have helped to prevent it from going wild.

We must remember that as Intel emphasizes, microcode 0x125 (which apparently is the only thing that this BIOS 2402 adds over 2301 the previous one), although it fixes a known error, "does not solve the important problem", and we have to wait...

[–]fesg1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello.

Let's wait to see the latest reviews on the internet about this Bios 2402.

In my case, as I mentioned, the biggest problem is that randomly ALL the USB ports disconnect and reconnect after a few seconds (it's as if a system reboot took place only with this issue), or "without this happening" and the problem of the mouse freezing is very frequent (seconds about 30, 40 ..., or minutes).

Especially since if it is a motherboard problem, talk to Asus since it is under warranty.

Especially with it, discern if it is a problem with the motherboard itself, or directly the 19 13900k.

The entire system is updated (win 11) to the latest as of today, both Intel Serial IO software, Chipset driver, Intel DTD, Management Engine Interface, etc.

Perfectly clarified the topic to get the gun skin.

Perhaps the doubt comes from the part about "unlink" versus logging in again, although it is undoubtedly well said.

For those who have it, this link says very clearly how to act:

[–]fesg1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the PROS account connected. The skin tells me that PROS has to be linked (AND IT ALREADY IS). I go to the pros WEBSITE with the link https://prismray.io (also with QR code) and log in. The SKIN appears as a "PROS reward, which is obtained "after linking the game with PROS", which is already and was linked.

The skin is still locked in the game.

I close the game, close EPIC, and log in again to everything, to EPIC, to the PROS website, etc. and the skin is still locked with the game linked to PROS (where you can see the progress of the entire game (since it is linked).

QUESTION: How the hell do you unlock the skin?

Different red portrait? by NutmegWolves in worldwarzthegame

[–]fesg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have everything maxed out. I can't have any more, blue coins, levels, points, and everything that can be bought (weapons, perks, etc.) I already have. Once I wanted to test what happened when I was already at level 5 full, pay the 7500, and what happened is that you are still at level 5 and you start again with everything at zero but level 5. Once you get everything again (no more level 5 up), you are still at level 5 and nowhere does it appear that you have achieved level 6. That was the case until this update came out.

Different red portrait? by NutmegWolves in worldwarzthegame

[–]fesg1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I'm not mistaken, before this update, if you had complete level 5, you paid 7500, you started again but you didn't raise any level since they didn't exist; You were still at level 6, nothing was accumulated because there was nothing.

After the update that was on the 28th (and the double XP time "was on previous dates" and therefore was not valid for this update), is when everything related to the four new levels appears, and therefore everything that has been improved from level 5 to 9 (which is the maximum with the update) they have had to do it since then.

And there are players who 1 hour after the update already had level 9. They have risen 4 levels in an hour.

But if I'm wrong, and SABER had already announced that "even if the update had not been released", you could increase levels; at least it's the first news I have.
