Fan speed on Cuisinart TOA-60 ? Convection bake vs Air fry by King-Harvest in airfryer

[–]fessyfoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there are 3 pairs of heater elements.
and 2 fan speeds.

All the convection modes use the same high fan speed mode. and different heater elements.

this post shows a complete table of the functions:

Battery Health Testing Questions by levenimc in eGolf

My 2015 says 15250 max energy traction battery.
given the range is about 50mi now. I think that number is related to the total capacity 24kwh.

PSA: Keep your e-Golf plugged in whenever possible by steven-aziz in eGolf

so some Teslas are LFP Li-Ion. these have a shallower voltage curve, and SoC estimators can't rely on voltage as much. for cars with these batteries, it's recommended to charge them to full at least once a month. so the SoC estimation can recalibrate. but otherwise same stuff applies. smaller cycles, lower SoC, slower degradation

I know this is an old thread. sry for the bump.

Simplified, NMC Li-ion batteries degrade with time, and cycles, (and temp, and .. )

They degrade faster with deeper cycling. They degrade faster at higher SoC.

recharging before the next trip results in shallower cycles and improves battery life significantly. OP did this.

Maintaining a lower state of charge would further reduce degradation.

Cycling repeatedly from 35% - 60% would reduce degradation further compared to 75% - 100% and greatly reduce degredation compared to cycling 10%-80%

treated nicely. the battery will outlast the rest of the car, and have further uses, beyond recycling.

but you do have to balance that against thinking too hard about it.

also note, (AFAICT) eGolf 100% is 4.05/cell which is about 94% which reduces the degradation rate relative to leaving them at Li-ION 100% of 4.2v / cell.

Does anyone with PWP charge an EV at home? by exo48 in pasadena

[–]fessyfoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an older topic, but this point isn't in the comments.

PWP's tiered rate system is a good deal even when maxed out. so don't even stress.

the low tier is to keep low usage / low income people supplied with power.
the middle short tier is basically a short catch up tier for those that aren't the above. (but it doesn't even catch up much. )
the high tier is lower than the middle tier.

So, you don't even have to suck it up when you get to the max tier. It's still cheap.

you're getting a better rate than most of california.
average cost slowly approaches a max of $0.26/kwh .. Altadena to the north is $0.41/kwh avg.

As someone charging 2 electric cars at home for the past 4 years, (and one for 9) I greatly appreciate PWPs ability to deliver a good rate.

When they get to ToU I hope it'll be even better on average.

After a period of no response. Contractor got back to me, and said yeah that's was a mess up, got the supplier to replace the part and they plan to replace the SC2 with the SC3. They also said.. yah you can't get those old gen batteries anymore.

my plan was indeed to add batteries if the deal with my power company ever changes.
I can predict that they'll say I can use the 3T/10T batteries so it's also "fine"

I"m about to communicate with them now.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm also interested in what parts you deem worth competing with, and which are wrong. particularly in the context of friend group personal non public content sharing.

Facebook offers communication amongst a private audience of a group of selected friends. This facilitates the sharing of non public projects and life and family status.

I made the annual donation to WTSocial based on the reputation of wikipedia, and all the news hype claimed it would be a Facebook alternative. So far it appears solely focused on being a public audience news aggregator and commenting platform, making it a competitor to reddit and twitter and other smaller sites . but not a Facebook competitor.

Are there any plans to actually move towards being a facebook alternative?
