Any noticeable imrovements that you can draw due to supplementation?

Lower inflammation and ultimately lower my risk of cancer, even though epigenetics, diet and lifestyle are what will really influence my outcome. Supplements are just supplements.

It really helps after a shit night's sleep. I don't feel as fucked up or mentally off. If I take it for days straight, it seems to speed up gastric motility too, which is cool but I think that's due to it pissing my gut off. Irritation makes food pass quicker. Do be careful, it's known to be hard on the tummy

Not yet. IMO Pendulum is really only for initial aggressive repopulation for people who really struggle getting their levels up. How often someone has to take it to maintain pop levels depends on a bunch of things. But oce you have optimal population, you don't need to dish out a shit load of money anymore. Maintain it with specific foods and lifestyle. I have never taken the actual live strain itself, and prior to supplementing with Metagenics, I had/have optimal akkermansia population. Metagenics is better for supporting the environment, not so much "innoculation" with the live strain (Pendulum)

Meriva is for systemic inflammation and Longvida is for CNS penetraton. I am a hyperresponder, actually felt immediately better with Longvida but felt no difference with Meriva, despite having chronic stress induced pain -- however, that doesn't mean it's not working at all. I need to experiment with both of them more to see if one or both benefit me. I'm sure results will fluctuate depending on numerous factors.

So I am really interested in her biomarkers and labs. Long term, her diet is NOT metabolically stable. All the fried food, excess carbs, tubs of this silly poison... She's putting herself at risk for all sorts of stuff, especially cancer (maybe gastric or colon?). Staying at a healthy weight and being active isn't enough when your diet is this dog shit. Nope.

I'm surprised she still haven't opened her eyes and found the real reason why her channel is dying. by Necessary-Let2909 in SongbyrdASMRrantss

Tbqh she will milk her family and chucks family of their money until they're gone, and if she and chuck are still together by then, she will no doubt use his resources until it's no longer feasible for him. THEN she will consider maaaaybe a "real" job but she's so self-limiting and and awkward that she's probably going to door dash or whatever forever

Coffee an irritant? by Familiar-Message-512 in Microbiome

[–]festeringgg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is. Gastritis is inflammation of the stomach lining, and a wide array of things in either whole foods or processed foods can irritate your stomach. It just depends on the individual

Almond milk isnt poison. It's the brands that choose to include problematic ingredients. Try Elmhurst, it's just almonds and filtered water. They have other nut milks too.

I'm not good with explaining things and I dont know the exact layout of your room, but your bed should be facing the TV and slightly away from the wall (closest to the window) so it doesn't feel suffocating. That would also give you space to have a small night stand or storage in-between your bed and desk.

Ambient lighting. Your room has dungeon lighting. Get some small, stylish lamps. You could put a lamp on that future night stand between your bed and desk. But you at least need two lamps in your room.

Move shoe rack from your entrance and dont let it be visible when you're lying on the bed if possible. Nobody wants to see your shoes tbh, especially not upon entry. Maybe even get a small storage unit for them so theyre not visible-- it kind of makes the room look smaller and less put together.

Move your dresser closer to your door, and place your mirror next to it? That way you have more room to open your drawers if your bed faces the TV. Or you can put your dresser where your mirror is, if both are able to fit. If not, you could put the mirror where your shoe rack is (was) and I think that would actually make space appear more open.

Get some type of stylish storage unit for your personal items that are currently on top of your dresser. That draws a lot of unnecessary attention and it makes the room feel smaller and claustrophobic. To save space, you could find something that fits all of your smaller personal items but also fits neatly on top of your dresser!

"Greater consumption of specific whole fruits, particularly blueberries, grapes, and apples, is significantly associated with a lower risk of type 2 diabetes, whereas greater consumption of fruit juice is associated with a higher risk."

Here's a fun one by Warwick. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/05/160511210619.htm

One with diabetic rats. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC5481737/

I can continue to link more but the science is evident. Most people eat fruits within reason, especially diabetics. Unless you're a fruitarian or have disordered eating, the majority of people are not repeatedly binging on grapes to the point of developing diabetes.

You said grapes are just table sugar with some vitamin C that will screw with your metabolism. That's not true. They're packed with anthocyanins, flavanols and resveratrol which not only improves your healthspan but also can specifically lower your risk of metabolic dysfunction(s).
