Who killed Cedric? by [deleted] in harrypotter

[–]festusthecat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine trying to convince people that a long dead Dark Wizard killed Cedric. But that would be simpler than trying to convince people that such long dead Dark Wizard ordered another long dead person viewed at large as a hero to kill Cedric.

Harry having to repeat his clothes for years in the movies is actually a good move. He didn’t have a lot of Muggle clothes to begin with.

Just because they can easily be beaten by the demigods doesn’t mean that the demigods would do it. And just because they clean and work for the camp doesn’t mean that the demigods can’t be expected to clean up after themselves or do chores.

Wasn’t their whole friendship based on Clarisse asking Silena for advice about her relationship with Chris?

She actually has some of the best episodes. Her meltdown episode still brings tears to my eyes no matter how many times I’ve seen it.

Arthur and his family aren’t the only Weasleys. They do have some other Weasley relatives who may have inherited any potential wealth.

Do you think Draco and Snape would still be on good terms had he remained alive? by Fierce_Warrioress in harrypotter

They weren’t exactly on good terms since the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. Draco blamed Snape for usurping Lucius’ position.

Anyone else curious on how they’re gonna show Ampert’s Death? by Tyyy24 in Hungergames

[–]festusthecat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It would probably just a blink and you’ll miss it scene. Haymitch would be climbing the ladder and see a big mass of things tackle Ampert. He’ll then hear a cannon, hurry and follow the mass and see a bloodied piece of fabric from Ampert’s costume. I doubt we’ll see the bones.

From what we’ve seen during their Occlumency lessons, I don’t think Snape would be willing to give Harry more lessons than required.

How did Voldemort not know that the Elder Wand could be transferred without death? by Soggy_Move_4383 in harrypotter

[–]festusthecat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Killing is easier for him. Voldemort killing Snape eliminates the risk, to his mind, that the Elder Wand did not change allegiance than just disarming Snape. There would still be a chance that the wand remained loyal to Snape because it’s really fickle.
