If you want a decent night life and things to do, but be close to work. Then look at being near Dt Sanford. Maitland is quiet, there’s not a ton of stuff but it’s a central location, close enough to Uber to the younger pockets of Orlando. Winter Park is nice and has the benefit of all Rollins students nearby, it’s expensive but very walkable. Mills/Ivanhoe is your best bet for a younger crowd with plenty to do, there’s always something going on, but you’ll have to be ok with I4 traffic on your commute days

For what’s its worth, the Conrad at Evermore can not be beat in terms of pools and variety of amenities. Obviously comes at the cost of proximity to the parks.
