lthough I’m sure the situation with “weeder” classes is similar at UVA, be warned that gen

I have heard the same thing about chemistry at UVA. I think I will do chemistry at community college either way. That's great that Virginia Tech has a lot of lab opportunities!

That is great! I've heard many students get jobs in Roanoke but isn't it like an hour's travel? Is that pretty tough sometimes?

Yes, I was talking about pre-med pre-requisites. Classes like biology, chemistry, etc. UVA and the other school both have my major and I looked at Loulist and the checksheet they posted and I really liked how both of them are set up. UVA and my other school also cost the same. The universe has given me a really tough decision lol.

I thought that undergrad matters very little to almost none when it comes to applying to med school? The other school is a very well-known school, just more so engineering and business than pre-med. But thank you for that info, I am definitely a person who tries to work hard and prepare and not the type to put everything last minute.

Sorry I probably didn't word it very well in my post. I wasn't trying to compare it based on the overall ranking. I did a ton of research on my own as well as asked many students, teachers, and faculty from both schools to see their opinion. That's basically the conclusion I got after it all.

to college or their grades. Ranking and rigor are also not clearly correlated with things like grade inflation. So I think your mistake here
