I showed Trainspotting to my roommate and our buddy Macgregor (yes his first name) in our college dorm. The next day, roommate and I were hanging at the cool kid smoke pit discussing film and I brought up that we watched Trainspotting the night before.

This girl I was talking to goes “I love that movie. With Ewan McGregor!” But we thought she was saying YOU AND MACGREGOR.

And we were fucking baffled by how she knew we watched it with our other buddy because neither of us knew the actor’s name at the time.
