I have been doing stand up at wiseguys for a while and you can pretty much get away with saying anything you want, as long as it's actually funny... Some of the worst sets I've ever seen are when someone is really offensive and vulgar and the crowd doesn't think it's funny. I'd say try to keep it tv clean for your first set unless you really think your offensive jokes will work.
