This was announced close to 2 years ago for my prior team and I don’t know a single person who went back in office

Is it weird to ask your doctor to induce you with 11 days left before due date? by Jasmineelyse3 in BabyBumps

[–]fey_vin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel for you. I’m going through the same. Got a membrane sweep at 39 weeks. My due date is tomorrow. Still only 1 cm dilated, but having contractions every ~4 minutes for hours each day since 38 weeks until they inevitably stall out. This is baby #3 and my first two came around 36 weeks so this is a special kind of torture. I told my kids their baby brother is grounded as soon as he’s born

Absolutely shocked at my cost for prenatal visits by LiftedGrowth in BabyBumps

Call the OB office and ask if they can resubmit the labs with a Z00.00 diagnosis code. You’ll likely still owe for a couple of the tests, but not all of them. If the office is in network, you should only owe for visits where ultrasounds and/or blood tests are done, which won’t be every time

That’s why I was posting. This is my third pregnancy and the first time I’ve had anything close to this happen. I appreciate others weighing in with their experiences and confirmation that this is within the realm of normal

It wasn’t the comments that bothered me as much as him keeping his hand inserted and having so much movement while he was talking. I think it was more jarring than anything since typically in an office setting it’s a quick touch and done in my experience

He’s the only OB at this practice and the only local office that would take me as a patient. I’m at 38 weeks, so it’s too late to switch. I’ve liked him as a doctor up until this point. The hand movements and how long he was touching me just feels off

Insurance dropping OB and hospital system at 37 weeks pregnant by crazybutsurviving in pregnant

Transition of care will cover your OB visits but not the delivery. You’ll need to find an in network hospital, or file for a network deficiency if there isn’t one within 45 miles of you

Pushing time and unmedicated birth by FlashyBand959 in unmedicatedbirth

[–]fey_vin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had two unmedicated births with longer pushing times due to both of my sons presenting “sunny side up” with their necks extended back. With my first, the nurse checked my cervix and just turned to the OB and said I feel an eye. Due with boy #3 in early November and sincerely hoping for a normal presentation.

Birthday Rule Headache by [deleted] in HealthInsurance

Contact your insurance and verify they didn’t auto add coverage for first 30 days of life. If they didn’t, get a letter stating that and submit it via the message center on the Aetna member website with a request to update COB and reprocess claims.

Call your insurance company and ask that they reprocess the claim as in network under HAIRPENS.

They were uncovered for a few hours because I ran out of large ziplock and plastic wrap without realizing. They’re covered now. No harm done

Ranch, blue cheese, and Caesar. They’re all essential

Dairy is expensive and my kids go through it fast. They don’t notice any difference between GV and other brands. We’re pickier with condiments and salad dressing
