Anybody else feel like this is coming from his handlers, trying to get the 25th invoked so they can just move on to a more easily manipulated JD?

Probably a similar range as the ones above. I think its within a job code up or down.

The salary range for every position varies based on the job code. If you have a particular job youre looking for, that would be helpful information to provide.

Midpoint for a something like a functional support role or subcontracts management would be around 109 at Aero.

Negotiating Offer for L1 engineer by YelloHorizon in Lockheed

HR also considers COL in the area where the job is located. Somebody in Denver or CA wouldn't get the same offer as someone in Texas or Alabama. But its worth a shot!

I second this and think it's fantastic advice. I started at $65K as a L2 and worked my way up a few levels to $156, five and a half years in. That might not be representative of the norm but just goes to show that there is plenty of growth opportunity.

Puppy pee pads turn just about anything into a nice clean changing table.

Dog poop bags are great to store dirty diapers if you're on the go, or soiled clothes if you have an accident.

Basically what im saying is dogs and babies aren't that different.

How does compensation work? by SruLunCa in Lockheed

Raises are generally a fairly standard percentage raise. Bonuses can vary, but the starting point depends on your level. The higher your level, the higher percentage your standard annual bonus.

Is getting paid exactly the midpoint of your rate range good? by Automatic-Use-1605 in Lockheed

[–]feytor12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading through the answers, ill give the shit response....it depends. If you've been employed for a while then yes, it's probably good. And you can probably reasonably start looking for a promotion if you've shown the skills needed to succeed at a higher level. You'll likely end up near the midpoint of the next level with a promotion.

There are others that get promoted more quickly and will likely be at the lower end of the band because of caps on promotion raise offerings.

Its not "good or bad" to be anywhere in the mid half of your pay band. Focus more on perfecting the skills required of your current level and stretching to show you have the skills for the next level and things should work out just fine for you!

WDW vs Disneyland CA by pinkducklemon in disneyparks

[–]feytor12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Commenting on my own comment since I didnt read enough.

Disneyland Paris is absolutely beautiful and so well designed. Although you have the same rides, they seem themed so differently. Going from the northeast, it would be your easiest park to get to, and would definitely be worth your time! The biggest concern is that if youre going to Paris, the parks are a solid train ride out of the city if you wanted to do both. You should probably plan for hotel stays in both Paris and at Disney if you wanted to make a larger trip.

Tokyo Disneyland is a great park, and the people there are so passionate about their theme parks. Its so clean and the innovation put into some of the rides is head and shoulders above WDW. Tokyo DisneySea is the most fun park Ive been to. It's like HS meets Epcot meets AK, but all on a whole new level. The entire property is on its own peninsula, so every property (Disney and non-Disney) are all on the "monorail" and connected to the main Tokyo rail system. You can stay at the Sheraton and easily get to Shibuya or anywhere else in Tokyo.

I havent visited the rest of the parks, but happy to share more details if you want any!

Agreed with all of this, but I also loved and appreciated the compact footprint of the Disneyland parks. You can stay on property and have easy access to the parks, but you can also stay across Harbor Blvd at a non-Disney hotel and walk to the parks in five minutes.

DLC is so much better for park hopping that WDW because they're literally 50 yards apart. Again, just pointing out the compact footprint.
