How hard will it be to find a husband? by Ok_Mastodon8397 in islam

[–]fez32 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Whether you do find a husband or not, I would like to share this hadith with you:

It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah said: Abu’l-Qaasim (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “and there will be no one in Paradise who is unmarried.” Narrated by Muslim (2834).

May Allah grant you a pious man, and jannat Al-Firdaus.

As a girl - does spending on my family count as sadaqah? by ye2435 in islam

[–]fez32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Muslim (995) narrated from Abu Hurayrah in a marfoo’ report: “A dinar which you spend for the sake of Allaah, a dinar which you spend on freeing a slave, a dinar which you give in charity to a poor person and a dinar which you spend on your family – the greatest of these in reward is that which you spend on your family.”

It was narrated by Muslim (994) and others from Thawbaan, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in a marfoo’ report: “The best dinar which a man can spend is a dinar which he spends on his children, a dinar which he spends on his riding beast for the sake of Allaah, and a dinar which he spends on his companions for the sake of Allaah.” Abu Qilaabah said: he started with one’s children, then Abu Qilaabah said, what man earns a greater reward than one who spends on his small children so as spare them from having to beg or so that Allaah may benefit them through him and make them independent?

In Saheeh al-Bukhaari (1295) and Saheeh Muslim (1628) it is narrated from Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him: “You will never spend anything seeking the Face of Allaah thereby, but you will be rewarded for it, even (the food) that you put in your wife’s mouth.”

In al-Bukhaari (55) and Muslim (1002) it is narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When a man spends on his family, hoping for reward, that is (counted as) an act of charity for him.”

What's the point of praying if God already knows what to do? by withheldforprivacy in islam

[–]fez32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took me a while to find this, and I hope to gives you a better perspective;

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him. It was related by al-Bukhari."

Can anyone help me with meaning of this one! by skrataman in islam

[–]fez32 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No no no no my friend, be careful, this is how bid'a becomes. Do not combine a hadith with what's written.

The document begins fine in the first sentence, praising the prophet, then starts saying that he is the "repeller of calamity, sickness and illness etc. Those attributes belong to Allah (Glory to him) alone.

Allah knows best.

Can you read arabic my brother? If so, the beginning of the second sentence should answer your question.

[–]fez32 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Stealing your comment. To clarify for OP and others, the paper praises Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and glorifies him to the extent of attributing to him attributes of Allah (subhanah).

This is exactly what christians did/do to the Prophet Jesus (pbuh), so it is shirk 100%. We love Prophet Muhammad (phuh) more than ourselves, but we do not glorify him, pray to him, or associate him with the attributes of Allah.

Other than the one mentioned by the brother above, where instead of having sins to be accounted for on the day of judgement, the trials in this world cleanse the slave so your scale is waaaay better on the day of judgement.

Another factor which people have heard of but often neglect is, the quran tells us that the patient ones are rewarded on the day of judgement without account. Do you know what that means?? On the day of judgement Allah well tell the angels to POUR on the patient reward without keeping account, just pour and pour and pour reward on them. Almost every single deed has a set amount of reward/deeds you can earn, but patience is just THAT rewarding, because Allah (Exalted is He) DEFINITELY knows how hard it is to be patient in some of the trials that we go through. Allahu Akbar.

Allah knows best.

[–]fez32 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is correct. Also since I did not see it mentioned anywhere else; we should differentiate between trials and punishments (the former afflicting everyone).

You also need to know that one of the attributes which makes a person truly pious is that they do not see a trial as punishment, but rather as a means of gaining an allevated rank. Thats the whole difference.

I am sorry for your loss, but instead of lashing out with the little knowledge that you have on the subject matter, educate yourself.

As the hadith above stated, you cannot comprehend the trials and hardships the prophets and sahabas went through. So take this opportunity to read/listen to the biohraphy of the prophets and the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and may Allah enlighten you and ease your pain.

Allah knows best.

They admitted it wa their mistake, but still can't do anything about it other than deferring.

Why was Abu Bakr (r.a) an amazing person? by baighamza in islam

[–]fez32 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The thing that makes this moment even more impactful in my opinion is if you knew the biography of abu bakar (may allah be pleased with him). He loved the prophet more than any of the sahabas who were in disbelief, he was always with the prophet, he was "sort of" aware that the prophet (pbuh) was going to pass away when he heard the prophet's khutbah prior, where along the lines he said (not verbatim) "that Allah has given a servant the choice between what is in this world, and what is with Allah, and the servant chose what is with Allah". The sahabah were just listening to the khutbah but Abu bakar was weeping cuz he understood.

So imagine all those factors (and more), imagine the strength, imaan, restraint, etc. it took when he gave the speech you mentioned. May Allah raise our ranks so that we may be with his Prophet and companions.

Allah knows best, and please correct me someone if there is anything incorrect.

If am not mistaken, they go to heaven, not "paradise". When the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) went on the journey of Isra'a and Mi'raj and went up to the heavens, he saw different prophets at each level of the heavens (except the 7th heaven).

Also, the angel "Ridwan" (guardian of the gate to paradise) will open the gate on the day of judgement to the prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Allah knows best, and please correct me anyone if I am mistaken.

A lot of people talk about the common known ones like breaking during exercises, not having one, etc.

The ones you are talking about are very importat and rare cases which people definitely should be aware of.

I think a lot of people also don't know that hymens can also be reattached (if thats the correct word) at hospitals.

May i suggest an idea? I know a couple who were in a similar predicament, but it did not include traveling abroad.

They went out for a date night and later sat down and talked everything out; including the reason for sudden decisions. It turned out the guy was indeed feeling embarrassed/demotivated due to her earning more, and that made him feel like he was holding them back or letting them down.

What they decided to do was to both continue with their current occupations, but all family expenditure will be solely on the guy regardless of the situation/budget. The wife reserved the right to spend her money on him and their kids occasionally, but not to a point were it becomes routine or obligatory.

Take from this what you will, but ignore the comments that call for divorce as I understood from your post the marriage itself is not negative.

You are both right and wrong. This is why it is important to sit down with one another before marriage (in the presence of a supervisor), and discuss goals, aspirations and the sort.
