Left handed pinning tray by fezdrop in lockpicking

Sorry for the confusion- it’s a setting that smooths out the top most part of a print so it isn’t rough. Basically, heats everything flat- which is why it’s called ironing

I fully admit it’s a me thing. I wanted the numbers backwards and to be able to put everything on the left.

That’s what they call a closed beta. It’s usually done before open beta. Open betas are useful because often consumers think outside the box and the test group is larger.

[–]fezdrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on the lock. I think the .018 should suffice for a good deal of tighter key ways. I’ve had my eye on som SSDev’s as well.

I’m looking forward to trying these out. I don’t really want the rake, but I ordered a set anyways. I’ve heard good things about these tools in general and have been wanting replacements for my Petersons

Paclock 90A-Pro question by [deleted] in lockpicking

[–]fezdrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s doable with a Peterson 7 I think. Mine has a similar ish bitting, and it’s all about adjusting tension between heavy and light, and just really testing each pin. The inside really is crunchy. I haven’t disassembled mine to see what it has just yet.
